the $$ invested and the cost of marketing is much greater this time around though. Also the tools and making the engine for the next gen system is considerable more expensive than before. Therefore, I believe this gen will actually stay around longer. It's not too good with the developers if you push a new console too soon.
Unless if MS just want to try to increase their market share again no matter the cost by introducing a new system early again.

To be fair though, they do have games like No More Heroes (2nd one coming), Madworld, Conduit incoming. Just not enough hardcore games compared to PS3 and the 360. It is very obvious that there emphasis is on the casual now, and rightly so considering how many casuals bought the Wii.

that if you do not consider the game's history and look at just the trailer alone, I don't think The Last Guardian deserves an A either. It just didn't show us too much, no gameplay. Just a glimpse of what the story is about.
But once you consider how many people loved the ICO games and how long they've been waiting for their next, just showing up warrants an A.

I think starting off with GOWIII with a bang, and ending with Uncharted 2 might have been a better order.
They most definitely shouldn't have shown MAG right after Uncharted 2...

Uncharted 2, on the other hand, should be A++. I agree with the GOW 3 A, A++ for the gore and gameplay, B+ for the graphics.
but the true ACE of the show is Uncharted 2. Not a doubt.

but looking at IPhone, IPOD touch when it launched, that makes it sound more reasonable, considering it is similar to what the IPOD touch can do (sans the touch screen), + all the PSP games.
