If done well, Devil May Cry + Gears type gameplay could be awesome.
I don't think anyone can deny that Quantum theory took a lot of their "inspiration" from Gears. Just look at the gun fights and character's movements and animations.

agreed. Sony's product is usually overpriced though compared to the competition.
But I think most people's beef with this is that it is much more expensive than when the PSP3000 was launched.
went into designing and producing this model. I mean I understanding PS3 being higher price due the the cost of the components, but this new model sport a smaller screen, and some memory, so it can't cost that much more to produce.
I thought the whole point is to make your $$ back in software sales, perhaps the modding of the PSP to play downloaded games is starting to affect that view?
that I agree that review score is pretty such useless when you look at a combined average of all sites. Few problems with sites like Meta and Gamerankings:
1) The site dictates which review sites are included, not us gamers
2) Criteria for grading a game varied a great deal from site to site
3) blogs being used as a review source
4) Different gaming tastes. I'll trust an RPG review from RPGFans.com than a site like FPSFans.com.

I personally don't care for the trophies either. It was cute when the first few popped up (like the landmine and one-in-a-million trophy in Warhawk), but after awhile I don't really care for it anymore. I could imagine it adds re-playability for some people though.
