how long are games such Gears 1 & 2 and COD4? Usually when people say a game is short there is a reference point or somewhat.

in the demo is quite nice. I really hope it has good story like the stories in FFVI, not just pretty visuals. For me I don't really mind the graphics not being "all it can be", I'd rather them spend more $$ into the script and story than trying to make the visuals look equal or better on one platform or another...
For RPG, it's the story and gameplay (to me it's 2nd) that keep me interested in an RPG and be back for more 10 years later.

I know from the moment that the game is announced multiplaform, the game will have to be coded to perform relative the same, instead of taking advantage of the hardware of either platform.

I haven't played any Halo games before, and therefore that commerical may have less impact on me than this one.
So perhaps this trailer would be more enticing for people who haven't played or heard of Halo before.
But that older commercial IS quite unique. So it definitely made an impression on me (the length of the commercial definitely helped too lol), which is what a commercial is designed to do.
may be someone should do a LOTR style commercial for another game to top this one.
but to be honest, this is at least more related to Halo than the PS3 crying baby commercial.
At least the guys' helmet looks like master chief's.

had the web browser locked up on me each time I tried to use it. Please note I've only used it a couple of times since as I used my laptop to browse mostly.
Another thing is flash movie play back performance. It's not smooth for me as if it's skipping frames. Anyone else have this issue?
Other than that the browser works well before the freezing happened.

On topic, as long as the game looks great that extra 80 lines of detail doesn't matter that much. I.e.: Super Mario Galaxy looks great at 480p. I'd trade that 80 vertical lines with smarter A.I.
