I see no further reason to buy Arkham City on day one when the developers themselves have already spoiled the entire game.
Uncharted 3, Skyrim, and Battlefield 3 is all I really NEED for the rest of the year, but if Rage ends up good, I'll bite into that as well.

Ouch. With IGN scoring this lower than Gears of War 2, which was already a pretty average game, I'm afraid Gears 3 won't even be NOMINATED for game of the year.

Wtf? If DMC4, which ran at 60 fps, included the real Dante, Trish, and Lady let you down, how's it feel knowing the real Dante isn't in this "reboot"? Nor are the other characters. How's it feel knowing the game is running on Unreal Engine 3 at a confirmed sub-30 fps? Say goodbye to the fast and responsive DMC. Say hello to this new douche bag and Ninja Theory.
This game had some of the best bosses I've ever fought. The camera seemed a bit far out at times during story progression, which resulted in heavily unnecessary frame rate drops throughout, but when it came down to fighting bosses, the frame rate was smooth. If they could straighten out those issues next time around, it'll go down with much better critical reception.
Developers need to keep frame rate in mind as key when building action/platformers like this one.

this isn't open world, so no. and those of you crying about the graphics, you do realize May Payne 3 looks better than all of Rockstar's previous efforts, including L.A. Noire and Red Dead Redemption, right?

Uncharted 2 alone won more awards than every 360 exclusive ever released combined and that kind of success will never be achieved again until next generation so yeah, good luck competitors.
