Microsoft highly restricts freedom and shuts down their own studios after they've bought them, putting them out of jobs with no money to support their families.

Sony acquires as many studios as they can and grants them each the freedom they deserve to make a good memorable experience for us gamers.

Which one do you side with and why?

Best MP experience of 2012. Lightbox needs to make something along the lines of a new Jetmoto.

I'm sure Sony's just taking whatever security measures they feel are necessary. Or is it that hard for some people to find something else to do while Sony takes extra care of their service for 1 or 2 hours?

The problem here is that DICE made a huge mistake showing off all that PC footage and claiming consoles would come close. Fact is, they don't. The PC version is so far beyond whatever they're offering on consoles it almost doesn't even look like the same game or engine.

Of course, gameplay wise, Battlefield 3 (even on consoles) still obliterates any Call of Duty.

And yes, all of us have already played MW3, actually. It's called Modern Warfare ...

What do you expect from Gears of War fanboys bitter over the fact Uncharted won more GOTY awards than all of Epic's games combined? Or any game in the history of games for that matter.

Edit: @ below- I'm not sure that Uncharted players have even the slightest thing to be jealous about. They're already got the most awarded franchise on any platform. Nice job showing your colors, though.

If you care about quality, no. If you don't, I guess you could just overlook the fact that Nomura wanted this to stay PS3 exclusive for "unmatched quality" reasons, and will now suffer the same fate XIII did.

Since he isn't who decides where games go at Square-Enix, him being the director and all doesn't mean anything. Square-Enix is more "quantity > quality" lately.

Edit: I wouldn't mind it being a port for 360, long a...

Looks like you got some disagrees, bro. Some people out there are shaking at the thought of this happening, as Sony already owns the best developers in the gaming industry.

Quantic Dream would be huge, and I'm not surprised at David Cage being tempted. After all, Heavy Rain did sell over 2.5 million copies, despite being in a genre that isn't FPS related. One of the best new IPs of this generation, by far.

Can't wait to see what he's working o...

Lmao, I know. Wtf is this? PSN version maybe? Or just a pathetic way of reminding people the game is also on Live?

If Quantic Dream's next IP, which is PS3 exclusive, ends up like Heavy Rain in terms of quality and sales, Sony will acquire them. Same as they did with Sucker Punch.

I agree with Cage on not making a sequel. No room for it after seeing what happened, imo.

Too bad the install is 22 gigabytes, lol.

Goddamn, we've seen enough Street Fighter already, dude. Agree with everything else though, especially Soul Reaver/Legacy of Kain.

Hope you're ready to fail miserably, Bethesda. Just like you did with Fallout 3.

@ EVILDEAD360: Could you be more obvious about being a COD fanboy? And why do you sign your posts, like people can't read it's you?

Old, and still beats 3 discs and a 22 gig install (360).

John Carmack has said that the only way to slightly reduce the 360's texture pop up issue is to install the game, which again, is a 22 gigabyte install. They've also separated the multiplayer portion of Rage into a separate disc for the 360 version, so every time you want to switch in between campaign or multiplayer, you have to swap. Gotta love.

There's a reason DICE never demoed the 360 version the way they did with the PS3 version on Jimmy Fallon. I'm not sure what happened or whatever but it took them a pretty long time to feel "confident" in the 360 version.

Is Crysis on consoles even confirmed as a HD game? The screenshots make it look sub-HD, so I'm gonna say it's not even native 720 until Digital Foundry confirms the resolution.

More like Borderlands running at 60 frames per second and minus the endless loot.

I don't think it's fair to say "identity-confused" just because it does more than your average FPS. I wish all FPSers offered as much content as Rage. As far as "beating out" Fallout goes, Rage isn't a RPG, and it wouldn't take very much effort to "beat" Fallout. It's a broken buggy mess with insane performance issues.

Apparently...

Smooth, my god. Looks like id Software kept their 60 fps promise.

Edit: The circus thing is a mini-game called Mutant Bash TV. They have a much watered down version of it on iPhone/iPod.

Yeah, this title looks aimed at silly DBZ fans, honestly. Looks like Jappy-k7 here just admitted to being one of those.

NONSENSICAL SHOUTING AHHHHHHHHH BANANA HAIR!!!!

Oh, and Unreal Engine 3? I guess that explains the atrocious visual style.
