If people do not have last gen consoles, just recently jumped on the console bandwagon with next gen, I don't see why not. They get the opportunity to play great older games on their new console without having to buy an old console.
People will buy the remastered game if they want to, I see no harm in doing it.

No that's not awesome. It's the bit rate that matters, you could have a 50 gigapixel camera, but without the bitrate to back it up, all you have is a camera that takes extremely large crap quality pictures/video.

IMO DLC is just lazy cheapskate work, charging you extra for content that should have been in the game to begin with.
At what point are you receiving actual extra content, or just paying for content that was removed from the game to generate extra revenue?

The game ran perfectly fine for me, day one.
Same with watch dogs.
Maybe it ran like crap for people trying to play it on a commodore 64...
I never had any issues with either game.
With later patches for GTA IV, made it look even better with higher graphical settings options.
Not to mention the custom mods which just made the game look 100x more beautiful.
Still waiting for the pre-order to be available on steam.
Once that happens watch the numbers spike!

I would only donate to a kick starter if they had a demo of the game I could download and try it out for free, and of course I need to like it as well.

Nintendo should just release private server software for people who still wish to play with their friends online.
This is why I have never been a fan of always online DRM/dedicated online server bullshit.
They can remove their support at any time they want, then the game you payed for is now virtually useless.

I can still whip out my 1996 copy of quake, boot up the online server program, forward a port...

I do not have a console, nor do I have any interest in owning one just to play 1 game.
Just be patient and wait like the rest of us have done for every GTA since 3...
