That Elite was doomed from the moment they put it in that enclosed case. The heat had no where to escape.
They sent me a free gold card when I got a new system back(with new heat sync). I only had silver so I'll use this free month of gold for Halo 3. :)
Edit: How the F can someone disagree? There is nothing to disagree with. I received a free 1 month gold card, I received a new system (old one died twice), and I only have Live Silver. WTF?
SEGA should release a limited number of copies for Japan. This way at least some people get to play it online. I wouldn't mind facing some Japanese opponents online.
That was a weak ass list. The only 2 that deserved to be on that list are Lara Croft and Samus. Heres what my list would look like.

3.Jill Valentine(RE1 & RE3) She took down a Tyrant in the first game and survived a city of the dead in the third while being chased by Nemesis.
4.Chun Li. The first lady from Street Fighter II.
5.Rayne(Bloodrayne)She cuts you up or drinks your blood. Nuff said.
It figures EGM would give the game an 8. Their magazine sucks. Even crappy gamepro gave it a 10.

This game is starting to look freaking awesome. I'm a huge zombie game fan and the hype meter(for me)for this game is starting to rise. Let's hope they don't mess it up.
I fail to see how this was competing with Final Fantasy. There isn't even a Final Fantasy game out to compete with. I always thought of this game as a Chrono Trigger type game.

That's the good thing about not being a one system fanboy. I get to buy the superior versions of the multi-platform games and I get all the exclusives to both systems. I know the multi-system owners will agree.
I'm not seeing were it says UT3 is "confirmed" to have cross-platform play. All it says is Unreal Engine 3.

Viva Pinata - Very underrated indeed.
EDF 2017 - This game is a lot of fun and has great co-op. My only beef is there isn't online co-op.
DOAX2 - I really loved the jet ski part of this game. The Volleyball was fun also..just not really into Volleyball.
Enchanted Arms - It's not as bad as people told me it was. I was glad I gave it a try. It turned out to be a very entertaining game.
Don't people read the manual that comes with the system?

Was that meant at me? I've played every MGS games to date. I still find it retarded that you can hide under a box and they will walk right past you. I also find it retarded that a super spy would hide under a box or oil barrel.

How would their PS1 & PS2 games be useless if they still have a PS2? I know a bunch of people that bought a 360 over a PS3 after having a PS2 last gen. They just keep their PS2 out so they can play it whenever they feel like it.

Most of the games you mentioned are multi-platform and a lot of those game were just published by SEGA. Don't blame MS for their financial problems. I'm sure failing with both the Saturn and Dreamcast hurt them the most.
It's only going on it's third game from last gen to this gen. Just because there is a Halo mountain dew or Halo 360 doesn't make it overstretched. Both of those products are limited and are just to promote the release of Halo 3. I do agree that Metal Gear Solid is overstretched. They released 6 different Metal Gear games last gen on 3 different systems. Now that is overstretched.
