I agree with both you guys. They should change their name to Lica cause they dropped the Metal a long time ago. They went mainstream after ..And justice for all. The Black album was the first Metallica album were I didn't like every song. That was a sad day in my young life.
If you let a review score effect your purchase of a game, then you are an idiot. Simple as that. The best place to get a review from is the gamers themselves.
Even if these good reviews are bought, how does it effect the way a game sells? I've seen good reviewed games sell like crap and bad reviewed games sell a million. My advice is to do a little research and make up your own review before buying a game.
The only Final Fantasy game I ever liked was FFVI. I wouldn't put any of them in a top ten list. All the RPG's they mentioned on that list are way better then any FF game.

This person seems to hate anything "casual" gamers enjoy. Yet, he fails to list Half Life as being overrated. It may not be as popular as Halo but PC people never stop praising the freaking game. I've played the game and don't see anything that would make it more special then Halo, Doom, or F.E.A.R. At the end of the day it's just another first person shooter.Don't get me wrong, I think the game is good, just not "OMG, THIS GAME IS THE GREATEST EVER" good.

That's the main reason I bought the 360. I won't have to upgrade my PC to play these games. Besides, I prefer to play games from my couch then from my desk chair. It's all about comfort.
Mass Effect is a real RPG. Those Final Fantasy games you play are just stories with some gameplay.

I just finished Heroic. I'm working on Legendary now. Is Legendary on H3 harder then H2's Legendary? I almost broke a controller beating Halo 2 on Legendary. Those snipers are brutal.

I never played any of Rares older titles. I guess I can look at this new Rare without nostalgic glasses on. I enjoyed Conker on the Xbox, Kameo, Viva Pinata, and most recently Perfect Dark Zero on the 360. There games seem fine to me. I have yet to not like a game by them. That being said, I would like to play there older titles so I can see what the fuss is about. Maybe they will be released on XBLA someday.
I personally never liked any of the Call of Duty games. However, there is still one good WWII game coming out next year. Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway. I hope this crappy news(rumor?)Doesn't sour anyone's decision on buying the best WWII franchise out there. It's the only WWII game I look forward to buying. The first two were great experiences.
