As gaming gets more advanced the frame rate only drops. Towards the end of a console generation this starts to tell more and more. PS2 era we had shadow of the colossus which actually looked better than a lot of launch PS3 games but the performance was choppy. For PS3, games like far cry 3 and the last of us showed this. Whilst I can see 1080P being the standard I don't foresee 60fps in that scenario.

I can't think of many companies that would show you how to open their hardware let alone before launch. This is one reason I love Sony they make it very easy to open their equipment.
@Eonjay I only see one fan? he states it is 85mm which is small for a fan. The smaller the fan the more noise (usually) BUT with the processor only clocked at 1.6ghz paired with efficient voltage control I am sure the thing is near silent.
