Here we go again with this. If YOU like to pay to use free features then go ahead. Don't get all made because others feel ripped off. Ask yourself this, why do you get so mad and offended when others discuss how ripped off they feel when they pay to use free features?

MS is trying to compete with Apple now. Apple fans can easily use Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and other free services on their iPod, iPhone, iPad, and iMac for free. If you think they will pay real life money to use those free services on inferior tech then you are delusional.

I'm confused. Can someone tell me when sales matter and when review scores matter? When it comes to Halo it seems to be all about sales. But when it comes to GT5 sales don't matter anymore. Who makes the rules?

Two problems I see with this. One is when the soccer moms, grandparents, and hipsters find out that they have to pay to use Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and other free services they will walk away. Two is that the core gamers that put the Xbox where it is today are seeing MS's obsession with casuals and media and will think twice before buying a 720. If the Vita offers cross game chat for free then so will the PS4 so that won't be a selling point anymore to keep them on Xbox. Personall...
There's just too many Playstation characters to narrow the list down.
Don't forget that all signs point to MS putting heavy focus on Kinect games and media services as the primary focus for the 720.

You have a point there. New IPs like Forza Horizon should have been a 720 launch title but releasing it this late hurt the sales.

Are you kidding me? You know MS will charge to use anything on this device and casuals will not pay to use this in multiple rooms. If you have 5 rooms that's $60 a year for each room. That's $300 a year when all other devices let you watch YouTube for free.
