Developers are 100% sold on the PS4. They can't stop singing it's praises. This is huge for Sony. The PS4 is easy to develop for and will have a whopping 8 gigs of ram and add to the fact that all devs are more than happy with it. Sony has a huge advantage next gen.
Great response. Sony refuses to abandon the hardcore like Nintendo and Microsoft did. Sony won't put 100% on the casual console gaming fad that has past.

No they introduced of online passes last gen with Xbox 1. You have to pay for the pass to play New and USED games on both Xbox consoles. They even raised the price this gen too.
They have got to take away that the core gamers are what matters most. The casuals are fickle and will not spend $400-$500 on a new console. MS cannot try and force a bunch of Kinect shovel ware down the core gamers throats. When will they learn that? They have to show new IPs. People are tired of the same old predictable Hal/Gears/Forza/Fable. Those games are growing stale and won't be enough next gen. Developers love the PS4. They will make amazing games for it and I can't wait to play it. Looks like Sony will have the edge with multi plats this gen since they will have the most ram too.
And almost all of them will be core titles and some of them will be new IPs one of which is Drive Club which is already announced. Sony is #1 with core gamers.
There have been a lot of people hinting towards this. Makes you wonder. If the console requires an internet connection always to be on then MS can try to charge everyone to even turn on the Xbox.

I agree with every word you said. There is no way Nintendo and Microsoft can compete with Sony next gen. Sony will dominate again like the PS1 and PS2 days. Mark my words.
Nope but they did force MS to scramble franticly to try and match the power and features of the PS4 and announce it in a few weeks.

Haha, sure Cliffy. I'm sure we'll see Halo and Forza on Nintendo and Sony consoles down the line. Gaming console companies have come and gone but Sony and Nintendo have been and always will be here to stay. Sony and Nintendo are the only two who have won console gens while other companies make a splash here and there but they all ended up developing their few exclusives on Sony and Nintendo consoles. Microsoft will be no different.
