I enjoyed Gears 1 but I have no interest in Gears Judgement.

This is just fear guys. Fanatics of Sony's competition are running scared along with Sony's competition so have to nit pick Sony's announcement when the gamer wall agree that Sony knocked it out of the park with their announcement. Sony set the bar so high that they know that Sony's announcement can't be beat with charging for more free apps and more kiddy casual hands free motion controlled games. The fear is evident.
Wow! That's possible but if that happened a certain camp would commit suicide. I think the Gears franchise is pretty much dead. Just look at how nobody cares about Judgement.

The author list more useless gimmicks that I hope are not true. MS's silence is concerning. We've heard from multiple sources that the next Xbox will block used games, will always be required to be online, will only have 4gb of ram, and will only cater to casuals and still forget the core gamers. What say ye, MS? Your silence makes me believe that these rumors are true.
The PS3 is a beast and will be the most powerful console next gen. Allowing used games is a plus too. You just can't top it.

The PS3 dominated the list with three of top the ten games being PS3 exclusives, one was a Wii exclusive, and the remaining six games were multi plats.

The PS4 can go as much as it wants at the same time with 8gb of random access memory.
And did a great job. The DS3 was already the best controller but they just made the DS4 even better. Can't wait to see how devs use the clickable touch pad and speaker on the DS4.
Looks like nothing can stop the PS4 from total domination. The core gamers will see to that.

That may be true but you can't deny the 77 million install base of the PS3 and drop them like a bad habit like MS did with the first Xbox. That's not how Sony rolls. Sony supported the PS2 for years after the PS3 released. Remember God of War 2 on PS2 well into the PS3's life cycle. Besides, GT7 would be even bigger on the PS4.

Of course not. You can't count on casuals to buy lots of games and new hardware. Compare the sales of the biggest core console game(COD) to the sales of the biggest casual console game.
If this is not true then why won't MS just come out and say it like Sony did?
