Trusted Reviews are normally pretty good. I often loom at their scores for electronics etc. I agree that this article is pointless though.

Won't be a year to wait. All those games you've listed plus The Order all within first 12 months. Who knows what else? This will be best first year on any console. XB1 as well, looks strong for first 12.

You know what, people's memories are short. When I got my 360, I got CoD2( 8 player online which I didn't bother with). It was a good game. I also got Kameo , which was average. Other than that, launch was awful and it took ages for many good games to come. PS2 had Timesplitters and SSX, most of he rest was bilge. I really enjoyed those but they HAD to keep me busy for a long time. PS3 had Resistance , which was great and underrated, with Motorstorm and that was ok.

Matter of opinion . Many of its "features" like hand waving menus, are less effecient than buttons . Voice control can be dine in other ways. Gimmick.
This WAR! Idea is the fans. These guys are all in business. Success and industry growth, excitement for consoles benefits them both. Maybe the crazy fanboys should loon at this and take note. I agree. Hardcore is a measure of playing volume. If it is a major hobby for someone.
Narrow is better description of the XB only gamer, or conventional.
The software is quite often high quality but not often original or genre busting. Low risk publishing.

XB is definitely more limited in original games. The reason people like me buy PS is not the console, but Sony as a Publisher.

I had all 3 this gen and only Gears/ L4D felt essential to me on 360, and they aren't even MS games.

I think hardcore is unfair. PS4 seems aimed at more mature gamers , like me. Older hardcore gamers that are a little broader in taste and less compartmentised.
XB seems to go younger and more mainstream , games wise.

I had a look at Amazon US site. The most reviews on a bundle were 155( BF4). It was split at 3* with half either side ( slightly higher 1s than 5s). How many did Amazon sell? This is a tiny amount of complaints on a site the size of Amazon. Other bundles has sub 50 reviews with similar or better splits ( in favour of higher scores). Electronics have average fails of 3-5 % ish. If you can do maths, go work it out ;-)
