Does nav have rumble?If not old Sixaxis pads may have a good use again,they are light as anything.

However Move is £32.85 per wand,£22 per nav,stater pack is £42.85 and games are £24.85.
I've got PSEye so I'll get 2 Moves,1 nav(how many games will need 2 navs?I have 2 Sixaxis and they could be used as nav easily.they are very light).
About £87.Can buy a game and still get change compared to Kinect and the Move actually looks good.
If you expect GTA,you will be hugely disappointed.This is not some open world style sandbox with non stop action.
You will have to talk to a lot of people,do detective work at crime scenes and use facial expressions and persuasion to judge if people are lying and push for information.It sounds excellent to me,if they pull it off.
Killzone I had to mute people all the time because I only wanted to talk to friends and my Polish is not too good.My friends all had Live and we cancelled it.We all play on PSN and all have mics.Red dead co op at the moment.
Live failed more times than PSN in my experience.
You know before consoles someone invented a telephone,it can do that job you require and better than a fuzzy,reverb Live headset(or PSN).
PS3 has had 5 way video chat for ages,guess what,I never use it.
Same as PC will always be better for social networking.I'm sure when Kinect does vid chat it will be like PSEye never happened and Skype does not exist.
If you want social features Live is miles better than PSN.For playing PSN is superior.Less lag and disconnects,but the big thing for me is player counts.Live has tiny games.I like my 32 player games like Killzone 2 and Warhawk but when I had Live it struggled to run Gears or Crackdown in 2 player co op.Say what you like about intergration or features but online PLAY PSN wins.
Actually it's about as quick as IE8 on my laptop.I used to use the PS3 browser happily until I got Chrome.Now'it's too slow.
It runs ok ish thought and better than the 360 one.DOH!
It also runs plenty of video content like Todays Big Thing and has stuff like Home(poop),Life(news and helping Stamford Uni)and Vidzone(music channel).Live is over rated and actual gaming os often better on PSN with bigger player counts with games running a bit better.

Well balanced debate technique.
The Lego games,Toy Story 3,Cloudy with a chance of meatballs,Singstar,Rachet,Eyep et,Buzz,Move family games(3 or 4 announced already).Not Kinect.It just looks poor.
I saw plenty of lag(about half way through especially)and it's not tracking 1:1.It's like moving left is an analog left input.It's the tracking doing stick not tracking in relation to screen.It is not faster than a pad.Nice demo but pointless and not the same as Move/Wii but inferior.
It is a bit broken.Some of the updates unbalanced it.I played about 106 hours of it and loved most of that.I loved tank driving but they overpowered the machine guns(mounted and jeep)leading to a jeep being more powerful than a tank and a meatl railing could stop a tank round hitting a man on a mounted gun.
Then they added jetpacks with rocket launchers that could lock onto tanks.Try shooting down a jetpack.I've shot down warhawks from miles away with a single shot but jetpacks we...
PSEye can do voice recognition too,it has 4 noise cancelling mic array just like Kinect.It's in the SDK and Singstar has had it for months through their mics.
You CAN use a pad if you don't want to buy a nav pad.
Richards Marks did it on his last Move demo I watched but Sony suggest resting right half of Dualshock on your leg if you don't want to use nav.
At the time everyone just saw Gears and it's streaming textures.They said Resistance looked like a PS2 game.Actually Resistance did many things better than Gears technically including the stuff you stated.I'd add smoke that lingers for ages.
3DVs camera was better than Kinect but MS bought them to "remove the competition".It was too dear to manufacture yet so MS brought in software solutions and took processing out.This is a big rush job.
Anyone questioning Moves tech needs to know the first Eyetoy didn't do it well enough but the ball tracking demos are real as were the swirling water ones(just like 1st Milo demo).
Neither did SCEA.In fact SCEE/SCEA did not see eye to eye at all(sorry).They did not support each others stuff much and I,for one am very happy with the new boss and united Sony devs.It means one thing......better,more polished and advanced 1st party games.
Not if you consider that the Wii is the worst console I've ever owned and PS3 one of the best.What is the value of quality?
