The totals make no sense with world wide figures.Basic maths looking at US/JP/UK figures mean actually PS3 is about 6 million ahead in rest of the world with 360 winning US/UK by nearly 10 million but according to these figures none of this is from the EU.That's based on official financial results.It seems it's true that VG do massively under track PS3(that's adding back the missing 2 million).

Go watch the youtube vids of Kinect doing menus,it's just like Eyetoy without the finger wiggles.Now watch a Move photo manipulation video,it's clear which is superior for control.
The reason some gamers on here are not impressed with Kinect is simple.It's not impressive.
And the fact I knew about all that motion/Eyetoy research at the time>I think PSM2 might have covered it.I also played tech demos of Eyetoy at a classic gaming show in London before it released with things like swishing water,as shown on Kinect at E3 last year.
So yeah some of us remember some of gamings history because we were there.

You are comparing Xbox "success" with Sonys 1st too there.Makes MS look terrible.The xbox brand have failed financially and been outsold(in time/sales terms)by both of their rivals.The PS3 has had 1 yr less n market in JP/US and 16 months+ most other places.360 has an 8 million lead in US and 1-2 million in UK.That means it's about 6 million or so behind PS3 in rest of the world with 12/16 months more on market.Hardly great and MS have thrown more money than god at selling it.
R3 is to be announced before september 3rd apparently.Hope the single player is as good as the 1st game(2nd was pants,got bored).Hope the co op is even better,it was good last time.
I want Starhawk,UC3 and that Until dawn Move game(looks very good).
I'm on that page too.Still play it now with my son.

Most overrated game this gen is Super Mario Galaxy,by miles.
It says about CPU usage but what about memory footprint or maybe even GPU stuff.
The guys say 15% of 360s power,maybe they mean overall not just CPU.
I'm literally struggling to see how any sane gamer thinks Kinect looks good for games.I own all 3 systems and the reason I appear negatively in Kinect threads is because it looks piss poor.
The specialist gaming press seems to agree so far.
It really seems the reverse is the actual truth,that only 360 fanboys think it looks good.
It's just an opinion but an honest,analytical opinion.
The multi plat sites do tend to suggest it's bit crap though.Check IGN UK or Videogamer previews.
Problem with that theory is that most dedicated multi plat site all prefer Move.By your rational,those are the sites to trust.
PS fans have done all this.Enjoy the novelty....while it lasts.It gets boring fast.I can't understand why some of you dullards do not understand the tactile nature of humans.Next time you have one off the wrist,try pretending to do it(you know,just like you pretend there is an actual woman there)and see how far you get.

Playstation is still the HD console of most countries but because most of our media is US/UK,we don't hear just how dominant PS3 is elsewhere.Most of mainland EU is like this.
I think he means UK.This is true unfortunately.Only US and UK does 360 lead.Based on the newest figures of PS3 being 3.6 million behind 360 and 8 million behind in US.I think it's about 1 to 1.5 million behind in UK.
It means PS3 must be about 5.5+ million ahead in the rest of the world.
It did this despite 12 month US/JP lag on launch time and 16 months EU.
If Sony are smart and Move is better,then they will leave everyone in the same games.How many people will buy Move after getting thrashed in KZ3 or SOCOM only to hear it was Move that gained someone an advantage.It will make some hardcore shooter players re think their opinions.From the gamers point of view,it will upset some players.
I'm not resistant to new control schemes though.I started on Speccy keyboard,then Amiga joystick,Ps pad(Dpad then Analog sticks),eyetoy(meh)and own ...
I don't think it's anger for many PS3 fans.I think it's disbelief.
With any logical analysis Kinect looks like "the lame donkey at the races"IGN UK and to me the only way it looks good is if you REALLY want it to.
As a game controller it looks flawed,as a menu controller it looks flawed.Only full body fitness stuff looks like a good fit.Whatever anyone says,at the moment it behaves like PS2 Eyetoy.Even the menus work like it.
