The balancing act seems like the most difficult part of the development process, in my opinion. Come December 7th, I'll bet the man proves - again - that he is what legends, or insanely committed people, are made of.
I was surprised to hear about First-Person myself, and I'm still kinda bummed about it. I suppose we'll see how it goes later, but for now I'm 50-50.
Uncharted was influenced by many things, as are all video games, and in this case early movie serials (movies from the '30s and the '50s), Tintin, Cary Grant, Johnny Knoxville, Indiana Jones, and yes, Lara Croft.
And now it has come full circle, and Tomb Raider borrows from Uncharted. Why is that such a bad thing? Happens. Just makes developers strive to do better.
Back on topic. Could this have been a joke? You better believe it. And we all have seen fake...
I wonder if this is the end of people accidentally strangling themselves with their own wires? Seriously though, I hope Nintendo sees the - no doubt - positive response from the community and drops the app.
Those are some backwards rules. Time for an update, Sony. Let the community decide if they want to use a feature, don't just take it away or block us from doing so.
Snaaaake!!
Definitely not a bad thing. Admittedly, I'm curious how the joy con and Pro Controller do with Smash.
Of course it would have been funnier to mess with the press and say: "Good thing they bought us, because we already peaked." Oh well. Good luck, Playground.
I definitely did, and almost thought it was Rikimaru for two seconds. Maybe it's a spiritual successor, but that's a shot in the dark.
I'm unsure about this. I'm guessing since this isn't John Wayne related, Square Enix is either going for a Daredevil kinda thing or they're turning the artsy to eleven and the title is completely mute to truly immerse the player.
I was about to say John Wayne probably isn't in this!
Microsoft saved the Xbox brand, not the Xbox One. Unfortunately, we won't get to see how this investment goes until next generation.
Not a chance in hell.
And the characters were the proper colors too.
This event was definitely what Xbox fans have been wanting, but this conference was what Microsoft needed.
The community needed to see Microsoft's commitment to the game front, which is something that, arguably, they should have invested in a decade ago now with the 360. I may not completely agree with how they got here, but I am sure glad they did. Overall, not a bad conference at all, and I'm thrilled for the Xbox camp.
While not the absolute worst one, because at its core this is how all conferences are, but the problem with the presentation was its execution. They definitely needed more time to sort this thing out, all the way down to the host.
Overall, it felt like a marketing scheme that knew you knew it was a scheme. EA weren't high on themselves, like other developers have stooped to in the past, but they veered close. Not only were EA talking down to the community in certain pa...
Yeah I know, sadly, but that's why I said publishing. I'd rather have a Respawn developed game than a EA developed one.
This seems intriguing, made the more interesting that EA isn't developing but publishing. Given how the recent release of A Way Out was a decent experience, of course.
"What made episodic Hitman so great was that it allowed me to take my time exploring its large-scale levels."
Seriously, if that's your biggest gripe then why write the article at all? Just take your time with the game. Each mission end, save, whatever, can be your episode end. Then you can wait days, weeks, a month, and start again after you've absorbed each level or your heart becomes content.
Overall, not bad at all.
