I can't help but feel this should be a bigger campaign, except putting focus on older third party entries. Could be good. Show the added value of the Switch and that backcatalogs can be conquered.
Easter egg anniversary hidden in plain sight (nice touch) and launching a game with no DLC because all the content is in the game, which is always a relief to hear/read when it happens. Man, this might be my most anticipated game this year.
Well color me Wind Woke.
Hopefully this new push of acquisition scares dies down soon. In my opinion, derivative gameplay starts knocking when the consolidation of the industry becomes a more common practice.
Anyway, wouldn't acquiring licenses of franchises instead of acquiring developers outright be a better option? Just sayin'.
EA isn't seen as a "bad guy" because they're made up of bad people, the company is seen as bad because they make dumb decisions and defend them. This is one of your defend moments now.
Since you have the Star Wars license:
EA: "I struggle with the perception that we're just a bunch of bad guys."
Yoda: "That is why you fail."
Hm. This logo - whether a joke from Kevin or not - works on so many levels: old Rare being the $*** and new Rare just $***, which is two-ply and one-ply respectively.
He always pays his Dews, but I don't know.

"If [E3] is the Vatican [of gaming], why aren’t we the local church?” - Because someone usually catches one of you guys taking coins off a dead man's eyelids in the shadow of the steeple.
2K definitely wants to out-low EA, so the race to sink the bar is on.
After some digging, which I'm unsure why the article didn't mention, these ads can be disabled in the game's settings menu by turning off the 2K TV setting.
I think you've missed my point. By Sony highlighting four exclusives last year and not being at E3 this year, "E3 2018 carrying-over," they are relying on those titles to simply coast through the rest of this gen by not rocking the boat by any new announcements or E3 conference, thus "less is more."
No matter if you thought the article wasn't supportive of your views or a breast of fresh air, we should all move on to more pressing matters.. like how can Cloud wield that sword around with those arms!
I just saw a E3 2018 carryover from Sony to get the PS4 ready for its curtain call. No need for a conference and no need to hurt sales with a PS5 reveal/tease. Being silent was the right answer, because that makes their own or next E3 event stronger. You saw dominance, whereas I saw Sony safely closing a chapter in the PS4's gen with the marketing strategy of "less is more."
Depending on what Sony has in mind, I think I'll take both.
This deal is getting worse all the time.
Balancing nostalgia and/or the legacy of a beloved game with modernization could be tough.
Instead of letting the Pan European Game Information edit get to me - and because censoring has been running pretty hard - let's all call it a prequel.
You could be on to something here, TK. Of course you won't like Resetti when he's angry.
Well I thank you for putting things back on an even keel, Benjaminkno. In that way, you truly are the duck tape of this site: you have a light side, a dark side, and manage to hold it all together.
Hopefully it doesn't throw everything off, but your comment deserves a like.
I wouldn't disagree with your point either, but I can't help but be skeptical about any "leaks" or slip-ups in this day and age.
Keep the faith, Sono. From a fellow gamer to another, I send you this quote from Mr. Miyamoto in your time of doubt: "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad."
