Demon's Souls and Dark Souls are the best JRPG's to come out this entire generation and maybe ever. That's no exaggeration either, they're that damn amazing.
I was just saying to my wife that this generation still blows me away from a technical standpoint. Never thought I'd see games like God of War 3, Red Dead Redemption, Dead Space etc. The games still look really good to me and games like GTA5, Last of Us, and God of War Ascension only reinforce what I'm thinking.
That would be day one for me as well.

You're right, I mean how many times can you play Mario over and over and over and over and over again. The gameplay is good, not that engaging though that the game won't start to feel stale and boring, which it has in my opinion.
