Nothing in the game? WTF does that even mean? Care to articulate....
Every game that came out this year deemed a disappointment by the "critics" I have thoroughly enjoyed. Titanfall, Watchdogs, & Destiny are some of my favorite and most played games. Fuck the internet trolls / haters.
The higher scores are from individuals who were probably looking forward to it or love the racing genre. Bad reviews are from individuals who have an agenda or hate the racing genre but have to review the game. For them, it feels like work.
Some people are really dumb, they think it's sooo simple to code games with 1080p res at 60FPS. And who really cares about the resolution if the game is still a blast to play? It doesn't look like 480p...
Just like most companies, they recognize they can get the same amount of "work" done with one proficient employee rather than multiple.
You must be out of your mind if you think Bloodborne won't get 10's galore. I have extremely high hopes for The Order as well.
60FPS seems to be the standard, they should have aimed for that with the amazing graphics. They should have know this would be compared to Forza Horizon.
I go to pick up a game sometimes after work in my shirt and tie and the employees/other customers think I'm a Gamestop exec or something. How can he be here for a game when he has a job that requires a shirt, slacks, dress shoes and tie? It really melts some people's minds when they see the exact opposite of that social stigma(every gamer's a kid who has no responsibilities and doesn't work/take care of their family, etc). It's a major reason why I don't hang out with ...
As the Old Man on Pawn Stars would say, Not only no, but hell no!"
This game really gets picked on, its ridiculous. I'm enjoying it and so are my friends.
Seeing the black phantom with the giant meat cleaver in the poison swamp in Demon's Souls for the first time was truly terrifying!
For me, Demon's Souls had me more unsettled than any game I played last gen. My heart was always pounding because I never knew what was coming next that could one shot me and end all my level progression. Add the dark and foreboding atmosphere with the sense of dread and that game truly frightened me at times. Playing late at night alone in the dark was so immersive. I also loved the original Dead Space, but that was a different kind of horror, more like a sci-fi thriller.
Ok, I went into this game with zero expectations. I initially wasn't even going to buy it and admittedly, didn't know too much about the game despite having an invite to the alpha and seeing news stories plastered about the game everywhere. I had very little interest so I never got hyped up. I decided to get the game this weekend after watching a lot of gameplay videos and knowing that some of my friends did buy the game so the potential was there for me to have good coop sessions. Lo...
How about Fallout 3, Demon's Souls, Gears of War? That's why it should be done by genre.
Demon's Souls is far superior to Dark Souls. Dark Souls was bigger and it was good, Demon's Souls is just full of perfection though. Lists like this should go by genre, not overall. There are too many amazing games to mash them together. Top ten RPG, FPS, Action/Adventure, Racing game, sci fi, open world etc...that gives all the great games credit they deserve. Break them down by top five/ten per genre.
And more money, this is just the beginning of the onslaught of amazing games month after month all the way through February when Bloodborne and The Order: 1886 both release in the same month!
Uncharted 2 as well, I'm playing it again right now and it looks and plays just like a PS4 or Xbone game. That's why I didn't trade in my last gen systems like so many others did. PS4 and XBone aren't the same jump as PS2/Xbox to PS3/360. The games are still quite similar, just a bit prettier and sharper. Not some huge difference though which is why the games you mentioned still look and feel amazing.
I'm already looking forward to 2 AAA Sony Exclusives that are releasing in February of 2015, Bloodborne followed by The Order: 1886. The wait is killing me!
I own all consoles except Nintendo so I have no reason to favor either side (actually prefer the Xbone at the moment as the games are more interesting to me personally) but if you game regularly and can't tell the difference between a variable 60FPS and locked 30FPS you're blind or just uninformed. Even Tomb Raider on PS4 which was also variable 60FPS was noticeably smoother than Xbone's locked 30FPS. It's obvious that PS4 is the more powerful console, but that doesn't mea...
Ya? I bet the game scores no higher than a 7. It has looked like a disappointment since I saw the gameplay.
