MS should just go all in and come up with pricing that satisfies all involved and make this service available to all publishers that wish to be part of it. In other words make it one price for multiple publishers. I spend roughly $6-700 per year on games, if they were to offer an optional service with tons of new and older titles for say, 200 per year I would consider it.
As an avid Xbox One supporter I have to say these articles are getting silly. The Xbox One will be lucky to stay competitive at this point, let alone "surpass". It's not going to make my games any more enjoyable if the X1 suddenly starts selling like hotcakes.
If you have to begin talking up your game by comparing it to something else, you have already lost my interest. Just let the damned thing stand on its own merits and let players make comparisons.
