So, how many people commenting on this news actually has an X1 or might purchase one in the future? OT, I feel MS must at least maintain a presence in Japan, completely abandoning an entire market would be a mistake.
I experienced this in Ultra HD on the way to work this morning.

I agree about Kinect, although it has come in handy for voice and Skype. It should have been an inexpensive add on from the start, and the X1 should have had better hardware.
I have only seen a few people say that the X1 would "catch up" when launched in these territories. I think the X1 needs to greatly improve its sales to stay relevant, and this will help but it won't catch the PS4, nor does it have to.
Wait, let me get this straight, when Xbox Live Compute or DX12 is brought up, it's impossible to close the power gap, but when software or hardware for the PS4 is discussed, the power gap increases. Does that about sum it up?

Big Xbox One supporter, but come on, Playstation 4 will dominate as usual. It's admittedly irritating that no one can even pose a challenge and Sony will run away with this generation by 50 million units or more. Sorry but it's just true.
I agree, MS will have to come HARD with true exclusives, and I believe they will. I hope next generation MS learns from these HUGE mistakes and not only corrects these mistakes, but changes the way they approach the entire business. Having the most powerful console is great but if the online community hates you, it's over before it began.
I remember the r600 series of GPU from ATI wasn't even out for PCs when the 360 launhed, so last gen was indeed a much bigger leap. To tell the truth I am a bit let down as far as specs on paper go for all consoles.
I think the right time is when the X1 has an installed base of at least 10 million.
So looking forward to some campaign coop in H2!! I am hoping for some nice easter eggs as well, maybe some things alluding to the novels.
Been using it for Netflix, crazy but voice actually works better than the gamepad.
