I agree, this game seriously lacks variety in weapons, loot, and environments. I am truly baffled as to where the development dollars went, unless there is an immense torrent of DLC coming, in which case makes me think it's a rip off.
I think between the beta and the reviews, this will be the first Bungie title I have ever skipped. I just can't afford to drop 60 bucks for something that isn't stellar anymore.
