Actually, although revenue us up. Sony is still expecting a more than 1 billion dollar net loss.
"Taken in total, Hirai said that the changes announced today should provide his company with a 500 billion yen ($4.2 billion) operating profit and a 10% return on equity by the end of the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2018. This would be a marked improvement, given that the company is project to post a more-than $1 billion net loss for the fiscal year that ends on March 31,...
I'm gonna definitely get a new graphics card with massive DirectX 12, but I'm gonna wait for revised r9 390 before I jump in.
@Griever
I would argue that most of the people who buy PS4s are actually casual gamers. Games like Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, and most AAA games are in fact casual games for bro gamers.
The hardcore games are the ones like Bayonetta or Donkey Kong Country tropical freeze. The traditional core gamer base has never been a large number of people. Most PS4 gamers are like popcorn movie goers. They go for the Hollywood flare; not deep gameplay mechanics ...
Only if they start giving the pc platform more support.
I guarantee that the Wii U's successor won't be coming out until 2017. In fact, I'm pegging it at November 19th 2017.
If it flops, then the studio will suffer. But I don't think the PS4 will.
Very nice! I can't wait to see what they have in store for us!
This needs to happen. Also, we need hd re releases of 4 and the 2 remake that came out on Wii.
It's weird that you bought both of those when you could've just build one really good gaming PC. Then you could've even used it for work/school/communication in addition to gaming.
I think they mean generations apart from Mass Effect 3. Timeline-wise.
I'd love to see one!
Wii remotes made the game a lot more manageable since it was more like having a mouse to control the game with.
Keep trying! You just gotta' keep clicking that refresh button and you'll get in! I got myself a Majora's Mask messenger bag and a Majora's Mask jigsaw puzzle. Hang in there!
Ryse was only $20; so I picked that up.
Lolwut, removing the gamepad would be absolutely idiotic. Remove that and you remove the only thing that makes them different.
Apparently hairworks isn't tied to cudacores(physx) and is instead tied to the DirectX11 API, so should be possible to play on AMD cards lest NVidia actually prevent it from happening.
Sony has completely turned its back on Japanese studios and Japanese gamers, why would they invest their money in buying Japanese IPs. Sony is only interested in Western development these days. Nintendo would be the one to buy SEGA as they seem to be the only company actually interested in jump-starting the Japanese market and its developers.
Actually I was referring to the popularity of amiibo. It's when stocks are low that it is when it's a good time to invest.
You need only look to Sega to see that going third party would only erode Nintendo's brand strength and cause them to slowly fade.
Besides, PlayStation and Xbox folk wouldn't buy Mario. It's too colorful and creative, and requires too much hand eye coordination.
Sounds like a good time to invest!
You have to ignore them. Just pretend they don't exist.
