They're not smart mouthy. They just point out how ridiculous it is when console gamers talk about their hardware being massively superior to other console hardware. Sony fanboys especially frequently play the superior hardware card until PC gaming comes into the mix. Console gamers(i am also a console gamer, by the way) should only be making arguments about content. Not hardware. At this point it's because of both. Nintendo was originally selling the Wii U at a loss, so the hardware was not profitable until much later, and the software sales weren't high enough to cover hardware losses.
Why do console gamers always get so defensive when they see the PC looking better. They always end up playing the "exclusive" card, which is ridiculous because all consoles and PC have their own batch of exclusives, with only the Wii U's exclusives being truly unique.
Though they sell significantly less consoles compared to their competitors, they still manage to remain more profitable. So...... why would they do that?
I'm okay I with Hayter not being in ground Zeroes if the reason truly was that Kojima just wanted a different voice for Big Boss. If the reason for the change was just to bring a Hollywood actor into the mix, them I'm against that.

I don't think so. Sony saw it was doing poorly, and decided to cut support. When Nintendo saw the 3DS doing poorly, they redoubled their efforts.

The Xbox 360 is what disappointed me the most. Many of its "exclusives" ended up coming out on PC and PS3 by the end and I ended up buying PC/PS3 versions of those games which were often better, anyway.

That game will pretty much run on any hardware. Just download it now. If you a game for PC now, you are buying a game that will be playable forever since systems are universally backwards compatible.

The slide pads are very innovative. It will no doubt be a lot better than an analog stick, but might still not be as accurate as a mouse. That said, the convenience could be enough for couch gaming without my keyboard and mouse if it's for a game that I'm not playing competitively.
But then the next Nintendo console will be out by 2022 and then 2027. Not much time to wait. And in the end There will always be a console stronger than the other. Sounds rather interesting actually. A next gen console every few years? I think that sounds cool.
