Screw the hype. Witcher 3 is going to offer an amazing atmospheric experience that will absorb you into its world. It's not going to cure cancer and bring about a new golden age of gaming. Don't over expect from this. This will probably be one of the best RPGs ever, but will never meet the hype since hype always overreaches expectations.
I love AMD because of the performance you get for the price, but it's too bad they use so much power. Nvidia's maxwell is really efficient! I recently recommended a friend to get a 960 because to go with AMD, he would've had to have upgraded his PSU.
I can't wait... I've already started saving for a r9 390. I'm going to wait until factory overclocked versions start rolling out though. Should give me plenty of time to save for the new card. Then I'll ride the card out for as long as I can~
Yes, so long as we are talking about most AAA western games. Most of them are designed for the casual gaming audience. It's like the film industry and popcorn flicks.

Even though these titles definitely sold more, it's a shame that they didn't sell even more than they did. Unfortunately, this gen has been a more fanboyish gen than the last one was; and the last one was disgusting. People need to stop sticking to their brands, and start picking up some unique games. The market is already spiraling towards another crash.

Nintendo has many successful IPs that since they keep them fresh, have been able to produce for 30 years. They're the only ones in the industry to keep their franchises going so well for so long. Even so they have a wealth of new content as well. It's just not content that necessarily appeals to everyone.
