Gamecube was a failure compared to the PS2 but not the Xbox. Xbox only sold 2 million more.
It's really sad the Wii U has performed so poorly. That said, it's been an awesome console with some truly unforgettable games; one of the best console experiences I've ever had. I truly hope that the next console will be backwards compatible with Wii and Wii U games. Gamecube backwards compatibility would be awesome too. They'd just need to allow the Wii U Gamecube adapter to work. Anyway, whatever the NX is, I know that I can always count on Nintendo for consistently stellar...
That's stupid. They're both multiplat. Shenmue is coming to PC and FFVII is coming to probably both PC and Xbone, as it's just "PlayStation First."
Because Sony isn't really doing anything for this game. Just saying... he guess what! This exists, and the dev decided to put it here. But.... you should ignore the fact that a PC version is coming too.
That's justifying losing the ability to play older games, which is allowing companies to stop supporting their older products. Way to give Sony a pass to rape its customers. I always like being able to play older games without hooking up another system. That's one of the benefits of PC gaming.
That's good though. The more people who game on PC the better, I say.
Because it's foolish to think that tech is more important than software. If so, then SNES and PS1 games should just be completely ignored. Nice logic buddy.
I'd be really happy about that. I don't want it enough to get an Xbone for that; however, I do want it enough to buy it if available for PC.
People look at franchises and see stagnation; however, Nintendo makes its games fresh with every iteration. Only someone who never actually plays a Nintendo game seriously thinks as you do. Which is sadly most people. The family friendly image has made many men insecure in their masculinity and maturity unable to enjoy the amazing and unique gameplay experiences that Nintendo delivers time and time again. Plus, it's a really unpopular thing to like right now. God forbid people actually ma...
True. It doesn't always work. One of the problems is that gamers are so resistant to change that it truly forces the industry to stagnate.
At least Nintendo always takes a risk, rather than playing it safe.
Actually, I do plan to buy a factory over clocked version a bit down the line. that said, who says I'm going to playing my games at 4K. I'm actually still playing at 1080p. However, I really want to play games like Final Fantasy XIV without any dips in frames. With framerate unlocked, I generally hover at around 80-100 fps with my r9-290; however, when things get really crazy, it can drop all the way to 30. Since the expansion will be getting a DriectX 11 upgrade, I really want to hav...
Oooooo. I want this so badly, though I'll probably get the cheaper R9 Fury instead.
I completely agree. For me, resolution is nice, but it's just icing on the cake that is framerate, which does affect gameplay.
There are ways to make it look better, but nothing comes close to actual 60fps. The older Uncharted games were'nt, but PS4 has a bit more breathing room than PS3 did.
Yes it does. PS1,2, and 3 backwards compatibility. There are still older games I've yet to complete, and I'd really love to unplug my PS2 and PS3.
FFVI remake would make my life complete. I would also be happy to see V and IX redone too, though.
I wish they'd release the other games. The first is already available.
I would rather they dial the visuals or resolution back to achieve 60fps. 60fps is paramount! I'm still excited about it.
Good. Because that was the only good part of the digital presentation. Well, that and the Starfox gameplay reveal.
