Me neither. I don't know why the majority of people like it, it doesn't feel natural.
And both Sev and Soap look like one of the characters in Tears of the Sun.
It's been going on in other articles too.
cat/dog o_O
Lol. I remember IGN doing the same thing for the E3 awards, choosing COD4 over Crysis in graphics.
AMD is better for the price, but Intel has always had the better processors. No AMD processor has passed the I7, which has been out for a while. Kind of reminds me of ATI and Nvidia. ATI has better prices, but Nvidia always has the more powerful GPU.
"Uncharted 2 was twice as long"
I beat Uncharted 2 in 8:26 on my first run. And 7:37 on Crushing. That's not twice as long.
Yeah, most of the rips so far require steam to use it. The only one I know that doesn't is SKIDROW's rip.
I'm gonna pick up V for Vendetta and Dark Knight on Blu-ray since I only have about 5 Blu-ray movies. They're getting much cheaper now.
"also these numbers for the PS3 sales are innacurate.. i bought my PS3 at walmart last month :) 320601 that is"
Funny, because apparently 392 days and 2 hours ago (more than a year), you had a PS3.
"Looks so awesome. I don't want to wait another month for the PC beta D:"
I'm lucky I also have a PS3 and a beta key :D I get to start playing it this month, but I still can't wait for the PC beta. Battlefield is definitely made for PCs.
There is a bundle on Steam for this. You buy the bundle for about $30 and you can play each episode when they're released.
"That they have to patch a demo twice with one literally atop the other, especially when we're talking about a ten year old game engine, smacks of something other than snobery much less talent to me."
On PC, patching is a bit different than console devs do it. Instead of waiting a month or two and releasing a big patch, PC devs release small updates regulary so we don't have to wait. Only takes about 5 seconds to download and install through Steam. The Left4Dead 2 pat...
The faces look better. The blood effect looks nice. The lighting is alot better, and there's no more of that stupid shiny outline around the soldiers.
Yeah, I've heard about the trophy issue, so ignore the last comment.
Well that's what they get for taking out dedicated servers. There's almost going to be no way now to prevent hackers.
"As far as graphics, you couldn't be anymore wrong as it is using the same exact source engine from the original."
I can't speak for the 360 demo, but on PC the graphics were a pretty nice improvement over the original in lighting, textures, and effects. Especially the textures on characters faces.
"95 C in Crysis, f*ck yeah."
Holy crap. Highest my cards have ever gone is 85C. Most of the time it's around 70-75C.
Anyways, those 5850s overclock pretty well. Nice preformance gains.
Here's the video.
Amazing game, definitely worth the price. I've played through it over 20 times. I love how the console owners who can't play it say it's "generic" or "the gameplay sucks" yet they'll play Call of Duty 4.
I don't think the Steam version can run in 64-bit mode, so if you wan't to put that extra RAM to use (assuming you have more than 3GB of RAM) then buy the Maximum Edition (includes Crysis and Warhead) at retail.
