Oblivion had better physics than FC5 lol. I know how hard it is to implement these things but I thought we were passed the point of hitting a bowl of fruit to watch it explode into a ball of confetti. Some of the objects don’t even move, I hit a beer can on the table and it must have been nailed down because it didn’t budge.
I’m not trashing FC5 as I’m having a good time so far but if you want to talk physics then it’s anytrhing but stellar. I can’t compare to FC2 since I n...
You can see who failed it dude. There was like 8 people and some could be mods but all of them weren’t. And a few clearly said “that’s too low, even for....” I don’t know what the rest said but that’s pathetic!
How was it fake? I read the review, I didn’t look at the pictures lol. It went into details. I hope it is fake because it summed up my worries about the game. A last of us knockoff with lackluster combat and skill trees.
And no, you can clearly see some of the fail comments say that’s too low lol. How pathetic is that?
It wasn’t a controversy, it was a fabricated narrative made by sites like polygon. And then a disappointed polygon penalizes the game because their fabricated narrative was exposed as a lie.
Devs are fully welcome to tackle anything they want to if they address their consumers directly. Don’t leave it up to sites like polygon to do your game justice. All they do is create “controversy”. Seriously, it’s all they are good for. The last few years of media coverage has been ut...
Meh, at least it was their own original version of overwatch. The gameplay isn’t the same.
This isn’t their own version of battle royale, it’s just battle royale. That’s my point.
The origin of thor’s hammer has already deviated pretty far from the Norse tales. I would expect many more things like this since they are trying to fit Kratos into this mythos.
I highly doubt they would make odin’s son kratos’ son though. That’s a huge deviation and for what, a plot twist? For one that takes away a god to kill. For 2 Thor has already been smashing giants way before this journey even begins.
Barebones statistical data shows how much better life is today. The poverty stricken of today eat like the Kings of yesteryear.
At least they know there is a market for this type of game. If they corner a quarter of the battle royale market then they are good.
Best of luck. It’s a shame they couldn’t find something in the middle, they went from something original that nobody wanted to an unoriginal fad that everyone wants.
Wow vice is on hbo? If you had any doubt that it was a left wing organization then that squashed it lol.
The beginning of the video is hilarious. “It seems like it’s based on real world politics but Ubisoft swears it’s not, let me do entire story on why they’re wrong” does anyone really watch this stuff? I hope not.
Seeing giant corporations fall to the online behemoth is a tragedy but what can you do? The only way to save brick and mortar is to penalize the internet for being successful. Is that what we really want though? I don’t want internet goods to be heavily regulated.
I would support a local game dealer if they existed but it’s not up to me to support their business. It’s up to them to compete with dirt cheap prices and it’s not easy by any stretch of the imagination. They woul...
I don’t find most of them credible. That’s not even factoring in the financial situation. I’m here for the new gameplay and reveals, the opinion pieces and reviews lost credibility to me a long time ago.
That’s not journalism to me anyway. Journalism is going out and finding new information that we don’t know. Investigative journalism is what interests me. I don’t care about scores and personal politics.
I’m hoping they do impress. I have an Xbox and I hope they announce games coming this year. If it’s 2019, 2020 stuff then I won’t care. PlayStation is my 3rd party machine mostly so I want something to be hyped about besides state of decay 2 and crackdown that were announced years ago and then fell off of the map. If that changes and we get a list of 2018 games then I will be cheering them on.
The struggle of too many options is the definition of a first world problem lol. I say both, no problem. I have been more excited about god of war though. I’m enjoying FC5 so far.
I would like to point out that I’m generalizing as well just to be clear. There is some good stuff. Game informer has done a great job the last few months I have watched them. The god of war and Spider-Man coverage in particular was enjoyable. That’s the kind of professionalism I would like to see. I know they’re probably seen as some corporate shill now but I liked the coverage.
That’s great news. I enjoyed it enough to go for the platinum.
I just don’t understand how I know this but someone who is trying to do this for a living doesn’t. The journalists I have read lately aren’t any better. The polygon articles trashing a game because it “was too afraid to demonize a segment of the American population”. Like really??? I’m so tired of these entitled people being the consumers eyes and ears. Dev diaries really are the answer to cut out these middlemen. Press privileges go wasted on these people. I’m seriously considering getting i...
They are hating on the old games. It’s not 7 things I’m hyped about, it’s 7 things I’m glad are gone and use examples like his attitude, his weapons and the mythology lol. Like there was something wrong with those things, there wasn’t. The only example that I think is reasonable is the multiplayer. It was unnecessary, I agree.
Unbelievable. This guy has no idea what he is attempting to play and writes it off as trash. These are the people that are supposed to keep us informed about these games and he’s walking out halfway through? What an absolute travesty that the gaming media has devolved into. Thank you to the scum developers for putting out developer diaries to detail the various systems your game runs on. They need to take it upon themselves because these people can’t do it. They won’t even attempt to try and ...
That’s also what I’m wondering. There is an article saying the game has leaked 2 weeks early, so it’s possible it’s in some hands. What makes the review illegitimate? It’s not on metacritic? Their opinion doesn’t meet the standards? I don’t understand the scale here lol.
I read a review earlier that was closed down because it used leaked images. They didn’t steal somebody’s property or break NDAs, it was a leaked public image lol. The review was fine from what I could see,...
