It's all fun until someone pulls out a Peasant Pole-arm (a pitchfork made entirely of sticks tied together) in War of the Roses. That thing is OP
Voting is what puts an end to all this anti-social nonsense... giving the community the tools to police itself is the best way to go-- Not a mute-all button!
I need me some H-Hour...
Somehow they made it out of that dreaded spot in the article picture... they are now in Celedon... how did they make so much progress with the trolls. Even in the middle of the night there was 30k people.
I also suspect some people are running a start input macro because some people inputting start at times where it wouldn't do anything at regular intervals.
Well then... I'm not sure if I can ignore this...
I only used my base password for that site. This is quite annoying though... now I am gonna have to change all of my first level passwords. My more secure sites should be safe though.
How tha hell did they beat 3 gyms like this? They are currently getting nowhere...
Another Advance Wars would make me buy a 3DS, no hesitation.
That and a Valkyria Chronicles 4 (or even a rerelease collection containing 1,2, and 3) on the Vita would make me carry both handhelds with me everywhere. I can dream, right?
Doing a vertical slice as a VC/Publisher demo is an extremely risky move but it really is the best way to show off the talent of your studio and show a strong proof of concept. I believe SOF is doing this with H-Hour...
A vertical slice as a consumer demo really is a great way to show off a game and drive sales. Too many publishers would rather the advertising do the work and show only enough to lure people in. They seem to have it in their heads that demos will hurt their sa...
karoshi was it? Dunno I'm rusty on that... Anyway I wonder what tendon is causing the problem. I know there is a non-essential wrist tendon that not everyone is born with but I doubt it would be that one...
I feel for the guy because tendons can really lay some hurt on you. I partially tore my left achilles tendon last May and I'm still recovering from it.
I find the CEs of the more niche games end up shooting up in value as they are truly in limited supply due to the low sales forecast and resulting low amount produced. Also CEs of new IPs as they are the first but also the fact they the sales forecast from the publishers is usually low so they are risk adverse.
Those voices are just... I do hope this is dual audio...
I see Valkyria Chronicles as more strategy than RPG but it really does blur the lines. I think it is in a class of its own and I find it to be a true masterpiece which is a term I don't throw around lightly. (I don't even consider any game in the SOCOM series I love so much to be a masterpiece. The same goes for the Souls games which I believe fall just short.)
I really would love the series to continue onto next gen and perhaps add even more RPG elements into it. I d...
Linux needs a unified wrapper with libs to work with almost all distros... if they can get that going gaming on Linux and by extension Steambox should really take off.
Well we have 1 more year until we can find out if H-Hour: World's Elite can fill that void.
I also blame those three (along with Zipper) for the CallofHalofield 4: US Navy SEALs incident... That was the final nail in the coffin for SOCOM
"Snake, history will never know what she did. No one will ever learn the truth. Her story, her debriefing... will endure only in your heart. Everything she did, she did for her country. She sacrificed her life and her honor for her native land. She was a real hero. She was a true patriot."
If you have to think about how to use it then a hardware interface isn't working as intended. I have used many input methods over time and I can say the main disadvantage of the sticks is that to change direction there is a very small delay due to the stick having to return to the neutral position.
I also frequently play on my mid-high end PC using Joy2Key mappings and still end up on top of the scoreboards in the games I play. I do not play the CoD games because most of...
You can't really fault the level design for Mario games... they are masterfully paced and the difficulty is always a smooth transition. It always adds a new challenge or mechanic at almost every level and builds upon that by slowly adding more challenges. Easy to start- difficult to master.
Every Mario game I have played since SMB3 had brilliant level design.
I wouldn't exactly say they are dying out... more like sleeping. I felt the way they abandoned the Gamecube was a slap in the face and then they followed it up with the Wii. I do hope that they get out of their current struggles but I am just sitting here waiting for them to make me want to buy their consoles again.
A big reason for the NGCs failure was the increasing popularity of online play (SOCOM was the first PS2 game I had bought) and the fact they they had a woefu...
This is slightly veering off topic but damn does big picture mode piss me off. I use Joy2Key for everything that I want to use a controller for anyway. Steam recognizes the DS4 so when I go to turn it off with the PS button it turns on big picture mode. I also have not found a way to disable that shortcut or to force Steam to completely ignore my controller inputs. This is quite annoying.
