The innovation lies in the community features and the Analytics Sergeant. It is supposed to have a ridiculous amount of clan management options and even mobile app support.
The analytics will also be used to automatically flag cheaters for further investigation and to send them to H-Hour hell.
The game settings will also be fully customizable -- much more so than older SOCOM games and most shooters.
Innovation doesn't always have to be g...
With all the social integration these days it wouldn't be too surprising if they were able to trace a chain of accounts back to Facebook or something. If he was dumb enough to put his address on it (and have it publicly viewable) or if even one of his family members has done that it could be easily found.
Corporations and the govt are continually shooting down our privacy laws and exploiting loopholes... What does the general public do? They willingly expose themselves wh...
Imagine all shooters looking and playing like the original Doom... that is the situation with JRPGS they aren't evolving... they are too scared to take risks.
That is true but another variable in this is advertising... all those shooters, even some of the worse ones had somewhat decent advertising.
I had no idea the game existed if it weren't for the fact that I got really bored and browsed through game demos one day. I also found a trailer for a game called Demon's Souls that day both were great finds that I would have not known about until they were off the primary market. (I now check sites like this every day to make su...
Why do publishers like killing my favorite games?
Pitchforks made out of sticks and twine isn't going to dominate this game too is it? Also... axe spammers rejoice!
It sounds so awesome, yet such a waste...
I would rather crowdfund and keep the creative director's vision in tact rather than allow the suits at the big publishers to ruin it all.
The personalities of the NPCs are nowhere near as interesting as DkS or DS and the level design is subpar.
I hope whatever Miyazaki is working on is more awesome with more attention to detail.

Eh? That Ornstien/Smough fight...
1. He was in hypermode
2. Oh look, a bloodstain
The whole SL1 run is a test of attack recognition and stamina management. If you have those two down you will never be hit.
More often than not developers do want to get things done the right way and release a full product but the publishers end up setting their deadlines in an unreasonable manner and really oppress them when it comes to crunch-time.
David Sears gave a bit of a glimpse of other publisher shenanigans last year... https://www.sofstudios.com/...
Too many F2P games end up unsupported long term... companies need to step it up and show more confidence in their games. If a good F2P game has a company that not only plans to support it long term but shows off development to PROVE IT then I would be willing to pay for aesthetic content for the game (I don't like anything that messes with the gameplay balance- though expansion packs are okay)

The most significant change for me since the last time I played is that I am not playing it. Outdated UI, control scheme, and mechanics...
As far as the pricing goes I suggested it being so high to discourage people constantly changing names but I suppose a hard limitation could work too.
Oh yeah it isn't the same just similar in style which I think is a good thing as it seems to hit that sweet spot between detail and adaptability.
Projects like this are a huge help. I haven't really been able to translate my hand drawn skills into the pixels (I don't even have a graphics tablet yet so maybe that's why)
I hope all goes well with the kickstarter... I think it will make it, there is usually a group of people that will hold out on...
The RPG assests look oddly similar in style to the one's included with Engine001... I always liked the idea of a modular graphics library and the ability to modify them. (already backing this)
Oh hell yeah I want that! I would be willing to pay upto $20 for that (likely $40 as I retired my old ID so I would have to change the new one into some throwaway name and the original into the new name- all my purchases are still on the original)
Look at the sun, praise it.
