It shouldn't do, it's not like the PSN outage is going to last for ever.
It's probably that the X360 has a bigger fanbase for Valve games (at the moment at least) possibly because of the Left for Dead games, and I think I heard the Orange Box was a slighty better port on the X360 also.
Valve did do a better job on the PS3's Portal 2, and they're getting Steam - but I think the X360 is getting it as well now.
Nah , it came out in November 2006 - so it'll be 5 years by the end of the year.
Yep, Lost planet came out a month after the PS3 .
What's your source for the sales? ( Of the x360 original - not extreme condition which was on X360, PS3 and PC.)
Wikipedia had DR down for 500,000 in the first month, over 1 million within 5 months.
... looks like an etch-a-sketch, lol.
I don't think this is the final design, though, thankfully.
.... but if the controller is the console - you'd need to buy one each for a multi-player match.
$300 console for a 4 player match = $ 1200 ....expensive.
Hopefully the HD controllers will be seperate to the console - otherwise I don't think it will sell.
I think they meant Retro studios - the ones responsible for Metroid Prime.
Rare was probably typed by mistake.
Looking forward to E3, and seeing what they have.
From reading the rumours it sounds like some kind of souped up DS for the home ( the touchscreen is on the device - the TV being the top screen)
What worries me though is if the handheld device is the console - would you need to buy a console each in order to play multi-player?
Also, is being as powerful as a X360 enough - Project Cafe is the first of the new-gen of consoles, are people ...
Cool , I hope it gets an EU release too.
They do have object scanning in Kinectimals, which was a launch title.
....and so was Lost Planet - which was ported across to the PS3 - even though DR was a bigger hit - there had to be a reason why.
I heard rumours at the time that MS paid Capcom not to.
Yeah, me too.
Didn't Nintendo say the 3DS was capable of X360/PS3 level graphics last E3???
Well, does it?
Looks great - is there gonna be a Beta ?
It might have something to do with the Sony deal.
I remember MS paid Capcom to NOT put Dead Rising 1 on the PS3.
It's the same with timed exclusives too - companies can pay developers for extra content but also pay to have the content delayed or not included on a rival console. It's all about the money.
So yeah, Sony may have let MK use Kratos so long as there was no equivalent on the x360 - that could've been part of the deal.
Hey, that actually looks really good - and it's out this year too.
Great news, day one purchase for me then.
Seriously dude, this isn't a conspiracy........ or maybe it is.
(They're watching you through the Tv, lol )
I agree with e-p-ayeaH , the true skill is in the points.
@ Wallis - some skill shots are easy - but some are actually really tricky + require just as much skill as anything you mentioned before
example - knocking an enemy into the 'air' and impaling him to a 'standing' enemy with a single shot killing both
- or pinging an enemies nuts off with the remote control sniper from the other end of the map whilst they scream and run fo...
True, this really should be dlc - like with Case Zero and Case west.
Same goes for SF4's special editions and now apparently MvC3 - I'd rather have dlc or a proper sequel then have several upgrades released on disc.
Kinda puts you off buying the game at launch when there's gonna be a better version of the same game released 6 months later.
@ lamback
I think you just read the first line of my last post - which was a reply to the above post saying it's due to the PSN outage. I said it's because there's a bigger fanbase on the x360.
People can play Portal 2 on there consoles regardless of online.
