True , didn't relentless make the Blue Toad Murder files on the ps3 - which were pretty good, so I'd like to see what they've come up with on the 360.
As usual , the same overly vocal minority are here to slag off a game they know nothing about, purely because they have some kind of grudge against Molyneux.
Personally, the game sounds interesting and I'd like to see more gameplay.
Erm , you do realise that all the story sequences in Uncharted 1 and 2 are video - not in-game graphics.
See the main menu on any Uncharted game - look at the bonus gallery section - yep all of those scenes are video ( y'know the ones that actually look good.)
Uncharted's in-game graphics aren't as good as Gears, Gears packs more then twice the amount of bad guys on screen at once, plus has bigger maps, - just look at the difference in detail ...
Did you?
If you have a good disc drive speed - mandatory installations are irrelevent. So your point is.... what exactly?
The Wii2's hardware is on par with the current gen.
It's a console aimed at the casual market, 8GB flash , plus a card reader is fine for Wiiware games. Dlc is either on the disc or has a standalone release, media is streamed - anything else - cloud storage.
See, simple.
I actually prefer Gears to Uncharted - personal taste n'all.
(I'll probably get a million disagree for that, lol)
Cloud storage anyone?
They call it the 'blue ocean' strategy.
The 'red ocean' represents the normal game market - it's a small percentage of the population, and it's highly competetive - making profit in such is difficult.
The 'blue ocean' represents the rest of the non-gaming population which is far bigger and has plenty of potential profit to be made.
That's why Nintendo did what they did - i.e. make a games console for...
Sounds to me like they're thinking of making their own social-network system ( like facebook/twitter) to replace the friends-codes for the Wii2.
Maybe something like a cross between Animal Crossing and MySpace - with Fb/twitter style updates???
Everyone I know who owned a Wii sold it, myself included.
Kinect is a damn site better for casual games then the Wii, and funnily enough it feels more accurate.
It also works out cheaper ( for 4 player games ), you don't have to bother with charging batteries , or telling your Gran which button to press every five seconds, and you don't have a mountain of cheap plastic peripherals building up next to the telly.
Also the launch g...
I appreciate Nintendo's ability to explore ideas fully, and get the most out of old tech.
But their major franchises haven't really evolved much - and are really starting to feel stale, plus they have a real shortage in new IP's.
Nintendo clearly have talented staff - but they rarely seem to push themselves. They seem to care more about making a quick profit off an unsuspecting casual market then they do about making good games.
I...
It's probably a special edition for the 3DS .
Errrrm, yeah, it'd be nice if Rare could find the time to do some X360 games as well.
They all look intersting - Outland especially.
Looks good, like a cross between Limbo, Metroid and Ikaruga.
Is this out tomorrow?
I'm really looking forward to this!
Jaffe >>> Iwata
Cool , SF3 Third Strike is my fave SF game. (Tbh SF4 felt more like SF2 3D.)
If it's in HD, that'd be awesome!
I did this , it was fun!
Does anyone know when the download codes for the t-shirts will be sent out?
Any mention of which country won the xbox nations?
@ lamback
But you can play the offline mode - like you said - people just want to play games - they can play portal 2.
It's no big deal if you have to wait a few days to play online. The offline mode is good too.
Looks really good!
