I'm sick of the damn remakes. Am I the only one who thinks that FFVI was freaking perfect they way it was and that a 3D remake would only be taking away from how damn gorgeous the 2D graphics were?
I'm inclined to agree with Sony.
As a rule I'm not usually inclined to nod my head to such obvious flame baiting, especially on the part of a game company, but really the DSi so far seems pointless. I look at Sony's efforts to reinvigorate the PSP this year and they seem more substantial and genuine whereas the DSi strikes me as a plain faced attempt at milking more cash out of a market already saturated with DS Lites.

Saw 1 was good, but the sequels all fell into the lovely torture porn genre which is pretty disgusting as far as I'm concerned. Horror films should be more than just gratuitous violence in my opinion. All the best ones are at least.

I don't think it's that I lack an open mind. It's just that realistically when working with an established series you should be able to expect some elements from past iterations to remain present. How pissed off would people have been if MGS4 had been a FPS simply because it would have reached a wider audience? That is what is Capcom is doing, they're pushing it forward in some directions, while at the same time stripping it of the things that make it special in order to make it more popular....

I absolutely hate it when people bring up Final Fantasy as a Sony series. Firstly, FFXIII being multiplat immediately kills any future prospect of that, but more importantly, the vast majority of the Final Fantasy series has been on Nintendo consoles. 1-6, basically all the Crystal Chronicle games (however they might suck) and FFTA games are all Nintendo. FF is a series in its own right and has nothing to do with Sony alone.

Mario has never done it for me but Zelda? God when I was a kid I used to watch a home video over and over again because you could see someone playing Zelda in the background. What a great series.
Meh, the Terminator series is pointless without Ahnold. It should have ended after T2 any ways...
