I personally loved the game, the story telling was incredible. The only let down for me was the online portion...Damn Konami servers.
As much as I like Gears 2, it better not win GOTY, if it does then oh well. Personally, I think LBP should win, I have been playing that game for 24/7 and havent got the chance to play Gears2 much.

It depends. I like using the PS3 controller for action/adventure and RPG's and sometimes sports game, and I like the 360 controller for only FPS games.
Once Sony drops the price, then it is guaranteed that MS is screwed unless if they dropped their price again.
As much as I hate to say this, it is true. Just looks at LBP, and Resistance 2. They were amazing games, but the only problem was that Sony didnt advertise enough, heck I have seen the LBP ad like only twice and havent seen a Resistance 2 ad yet. Sony sucks at advertising. Although two of my friends are buying a PS3 for this game, but that doesnt mean Sony should not advertise like crazy. C'mon Sony, pull off a Halo marketing for this game.
Sony needs to get advertisement training from Microsoft.
I personally bought my PS3 for both gaming and blu-ray, and the fact that the online is free. But I know some people who bought theirs just for blu-ray. They do play games once in a while, but not enough for them to go out and throw 60$ on the counter.
They were both sleep hits. It would have sold more if Sony actually done some marketing before LBP and Resistance 2 came out. They are both great games and deserves to sell more than it did. But for Killzone 2, only time will tell. Sony needs to start advertising Killzone 2 before Christmas. Show a teaser trailer or something, and then later show the full trailer, like what they did with the holiday campaign ad.
LBP sales were disappointing, but that was because of Sony's lack of advertisements. If Sony is able to market this like what MS does with almost every exclusive, then I am sure Kizzy 2 will sell like hotcakes. Dont miss it up Sony.

I personally do not care for sales. I believe that even if a game does not sell well, it does not mean it is not "big". Resistance 2 and Little Big Planet may have not sold more than Fallout 3, but that doesnt change the fact that all three of those games are amazing.
