Why does metacritic post all these 100's on Gears 2 but none for R2? lol I know there is some perfect review scores for R2.

lol @ the fanboys saying Gamepro sucks because they didnt give this a 5/5. Seriously, does a game need a perfect score to be good? Seriously. Im picking this game up tomorrow and I cant wait to put this in my PS3.
Comparing those two is like comparing Boku to LBP; their both f*cking different, why do people compare them!
No thanks, ill jump in when MS actually creates something innovative like what Sony and MM did with LBP. Boku looks like a game that should be only played on PC.
Why do they even try... Besides, both games arent that similar to each other. The similarity I see is that in both games you can create your own levels.
Great score for a great game. But I wish they would done something different. It all looks too much like Gears 1 except with updated graphics and story. Now the amount R2 has increased in terms of everything from R:FoM; now that is what I would of loved to see happen to Gears 2.

I agree, but it's not just Sony. MS is doing it as well. (Ex. Splinter Cell Conviction and Alan Wake.) Although Sony tend to do more, and unfortunately canned two of my most anticipated games which was announced in 2006 (Eight Days, and Getaway PS3.)

Wow, im surprised that Gamespot gave one of the biggest 360 exclusive a 9.0. Still a good score, I was just expecting higher from them.
