Games that force you to pay for quests within the core of the game or to advance beyond a certan skill level tend to be built around grinding and or spamming your mates to grind.

Steam punk doesn't equals camp or romantic. Think of Blade Runner which is quite macho and you have a better approximation.

The problem with buying up studios is that if they aren't imbedded in your own company and part of the furniture effectively then you run the risk of running them down. M$ and EA have done it time and time again.
You can buy IPs and studios but it's the people working in them that make a difference. Look at Sqaure Enix since some of there big guys left, they are a shadow of the company that dominated the RPG genre only 5-6 years ago.

The whole point of Onlive to me was that even someone with a modest amount of money to spend on games could effectively play them with their choice of controller on a super computer standard hardware.
Now that the whole graphics side of things is gone and the controller side of things isn't there yet I'm a lot less impressed I have to admit.
As far as motion controls go Time crisis could be considered AAA yet we lowly Europeans aren't worthy apparently.
What I don't get is that this game is probably the best and least risky launch game for move yet they are seeming to limit who can buy it.
