BF and Call of Duty are totally different games, you can also play them almost their entire game life without having to buy and DLC (I've done that on 2 or 3 myself) This proposed DLC plan for Destiny is basically pushing people into a corner, either you pay the absurdly expensive price or you pretty much run out of playable content unless you still want to grind the same missions and strikes as before!
@slinky That exactly, I was expecting more like 4 strikes, 6 missions and the raid and even then I still felt the asking point was too high! But 1/2 strikes and a raid?
Ultimately it's the strikes/raids that are going to be played a lot not the story missions and adding just 1 (for the xbox players) is ridiculous!

No problem! I don't think you'll see a massive difference between the two. It will just be sharper I imagine. Though I would definitely hold out and get it for the X1, the 60 fps will be very nice on the eyes!

I'm fairly sure all the titles are 1080p (I think the halo 2 remaster is actually just off full 1080) and 60fps. But I know Halo 4 didn't really get any re-treatment just a resolution and FPS boost.

Any chance this could be the PS4 exclusive that was said to cause rage? Considering the last two have been on both 360/PS3 having the pre-sequel exclusively on PS4 would surely upset some!
This damn game! I've told myself numerous times now to quit but I keep going back. Reasons for quitting:
Repetitive structure (even for an MMO type game)
Awful DLC plan (considering how much was datamined pre-launch and what has been found post-launch)
Lack of end game exotic choices (more randomised stats on weapons would be better and make them more unique)
All that said, I just can't quit you!

Destiny at least ran though. I wouldn't say Driveclub is a flop though, but unfortunately it's issues have made it stray into the launch window for some of the biggest games this year, still sounds like it sold very well though.

Totally agree with that Neon, imagine my disappointment yesterday when I got my first legendary engram since the patch and it was a class item! I was actually hoping it didn't roll into an item and instead shards, but no, warlock band! (I'm a Titan, to add insult to injury!)
Xbox One's Capability To Run High End Games at 1080p And 60fps is Something That Remains To Be Seen.... and that doesn't bother Xbox one owners at all, I still have crazy amounts of fun on my subpar Forza Horizon 2, Dead Rising 3 and Titanfall!
It is always going to be last years sport games which will always linger off in sales by the time the new one is out, so I don't think it's the sport games that worried them as such. I do agree with the main reason in the article though, money. EA Access is brilliant for the consumer but I can't see it being great for the manufacturer.
I also think PS Now had some effect on their decision, having 3 different subscriptions on one console could be a little daunting...

It wont be Titanfall, it's an exclusive game - Titanfall is out on 360, X1 and PC! Titanfall 2? perhaps, but I doubt it! More likely that Titanfall 2 will hit X1, PC and PS4.
If it's going to cause rage it is likely something that is currently out on 360/X1 though so we're on the right track! Dishonored 2?!
They've done an amazing job turning it around this generation, I'm actually shocked how much they are pulling ahead! They now need to just work on getting PSN stable, the more momentum they get, the more users they'll get, the more the network will take a hammering!
Hopefully it's 13 - 15 hours for a robot, so add in the 100,000 deaths I am bound to have and I'll have a 50 hour game, winner!
Oh man! I honestly used to be in tears over that game as it was before I had a memory card! There was one jump with the army guy that just had to be perfect and used to always miss it and lose all my lives! Resulting in a restart haha
I totally respect why people buy it, It's actually going to be very hard to resist it myself. But I feel the only way to stop this kind of business behavior is to simply not buy it.
I've played games for all of my adult life and have seen how DLC has and is progressing and it doesn't look good. It's become part of game development now, they'll actively either cut or move development from one area with the sole intention to re-visit it later and sell it as ...
