Yes, I also supported the project by choosing the PlayStation warrior pledge. Seems like the best way to try and get a real Socom back on PlayStation!
This is the type of game that deserves our support, please spread the word since there is still noting else out there that has that Socom feel to it.

I just can't stand seeing how Sony has mismanaged the Vita all along (even that name never seemed right) it should have had some amount of internal memory or at least made it like DS games that had built in memory and had it's exclusive games marketed more, also Sony should be getting it's A list developers to make real numbered games from the biggest IPs that they own and then we would have a worthy successor to the PSP. Unfortunately Zipper was closed by Sony, for ruining the classic Socom franchise. So yeah not an option, however Guerrilla games would have been a good choice.
I agree that is also what I believe happened and have been saying, if Sony did pay for the development, they should have gotten a more experienced development team for the job.

Exactly, if Sony had to pay for the entire development of CoD Vita, they should have had a development studio with experience and talent for this crucial release. Did Sony learn nothing from the poorly received Resistance Burning Skies?
