Its so awesome that MS is making real effort to preserve our VG libraries, that were hefty investments.
Makes me really regret buying hundreds of those now forgotten PS3 games (3rd party) instead of on the 360 :(.

I don't see what the big deal would be... As Microsoft and Nintendo already pay Sony indirectly for the BluRay usage rights? Along with the other companies, but still Sony still get some of those royalties.

Well said, they could at least make PS1 and PS2 games work, there is no excuse for that. They could even sell them on the PSN store like they do for the PS3.

I will just keep my PS3 games then, as they would be the superior way to have these games, as they are the total package and not missing any content.
Now this is some good news, more companies need to be held accountable and not be able to always hide behind "company policy" like it's law.

Hopefully it will mean we get less games that are trying to be a movie, and more that focus on actual game play like socom and heck, even more syphon filter would be nice. Make it happen sony!
