I have to say mate you can't defend 343 or remotely tie them into Last of us 1 remake, yeah the price is obscene but that's it, the games a masterpiece.

No issue here, Phil said it himself when he said it'll be up to the developer how they want their games on the platform, whether that be Game pass or the good ol' fashioned way, the fact they thought about it shows Game pass is in every Devs mind.
For this instance I think that they are right to wait (it will come to game pass eventually) as it would eat into those big opening sales. Either way the game looks amazing and I can't wait!

Negativity about the game itself is daft, the game is going to be a beautiful version of one of the best games ever made. Regardless of the price tag it's a 10 everyday of the week. Case in point the amount of online stores and games that have been shut down disallowing access to the game you "Own".

Xbox outselling Playstation by 400k units last 12 months is big, if Sony aren't careful this price increase is gonna bite them in the ass and hand Xbox the generation as they're already eating into the gap to begin with.
My thoughts are good, I personally don't care which one sells more, but Sony need a slap in the face with a side of humble pie like the beginning of the PS3 days. Hopefully then they will go back to how they were in the PS4 days.
I usually have to defend Xbox from PS fanboys, but I have to say unless you're being sarcastic, this is nonsense. Microsoft can't purchase Activision and EA at the same time, if Activision is causing people to be concerned about Xbox having a monopoly, then owning the companies that have Call of duty, FIFA, Madden and Apex they would be pandamonium. They sure as shit would put a stop to that.
This is what you get in a premium marketplace, unfortunatetly the fact that people have been coughing up the money for high end GPU's over £1000 they know people will pay whatever they ask for, this has been the same for years and why I can't justify keeping up with the jones' on the PC hardware space. Too expensive, too fast moving, too greedy.
Bet my left arsecheek that if this doesn't get revered, Xbox will do a price cut on their consoles to eat into that market share, Series S is almost half the price of the PS5 digital already and I can see them going down to the £200 mark as they aren't bothered about profit on consoles, they want those subscriptions.
