Here we go, it's not even about the whole issue of microtransactions which Tencent will push to fuck. It's the censorship that will happen if they become a main player. Developers will not be able to have creative freedom, even less so than they do now.

At the end of the day if a company changes something that improves our experience as a consumer, this should be celebrated, whatever the change maybe. And the opposite is true, if something negatively effects us, we should let it be known no matter how little or big.
