The point isn't to put in premium brands like Prada for the hell of it, it was to say how about when it can be applied we put in more normal looks. Noel would wear whatever he wanted because he came from a future, a desolate one at that, and tbh it would suggest as the last man on earth his clothes wouldn't be as pristine as they are in XIII-2 anyway.
I'm not trying to change the RPG genre, or say they should change gameplay, or plot or anything like that. What I&...
In reply to both yourself and D3mons0ul, I am a reviewer, and I have also played the game - and not only have I played the finished article ( http://n4g.com/news/970413/... but I also went along and played a preview build with Namco ( http://n4g.com/news/957234/...
I agree with Jetlian, also in University 50% on a test or essay isn't a fail, heck 40% isn't a fail.
The average of 10 is 5... therefore 5 is an average score for an average title. 7 out of 10 is a title that is above average and 10 is a perfect (or essentially as near to perfect as you can get) title. Hence why 10/10's should be doled out carefully - shamefully though they aren't and people think that 8/10 is an average game, when in reality it's actually a decent...
The metacritic is odd, people have voted it 10 and then just given criticisms.
It isn't bad by any means, it's just noting amazing. I find it flabbergasting that people seem to think 5/10 is a bad game. Its an average score, its just an average title.
Obviously if you love Naruto then you'll enjoy it, but if you dont like naruto (such as the vast population of the world) then it isn't very interesting or fun to play.
I really think this fighter is only for fans of the series as if you aren't a fan then the story and characters wont distract you from the absolutely abysmal gameplay.
Fights are dull and drawn out, they feel repetitive and completely unskillful, essentially it's a game thats just painfully average besides the immense amount of content they've stuffed into it all..
See now the brand isn't the problem, it's the people. As you pointed out, the PS3 sells well in the EU and in JPN, and it basically boils down to each nations individual mindsets.
As I live in the EU, and worked at a formerly large games retailer there, I can safely say that people who own PS3's are largely considered the 'core' gamers, whilst 360 owners are just people who play games, and a few 'core' gamers - however we all know that most 'co...
Team Bondi weren't the ones to blame, their company structure may not have been grand, but it was R* who were whipping the team to get things done and placing crushing dev schedules onto them.
I'd say R* are great at pleasing fans and giving them what they want, but they aren't as great at dealing with the dev side of things - that is unless you're a proven development studio. R* North get a load of leeway because when they were DMC Interactive they brought them GTA, w...
I played the preview build back in August 2011 and loved it but reviews haven't really been giving it the best attention. I'm starved for time to play games for pleasure really so I only pick up ones I really want. I was only mildly interested in it so I'll grab it when I'm not reviewing something else.
Bit disappointed with the score, but also really not surprised. It had a load of promise when I had a go on the preview build, but no Silent Hill game has quite lived up to the heights of the early few. Glad to know it's still got enough entertainment in it though.
It's unsurprising that its gotten pretty good scores from places already, but I still don't see the appeal... Might give it a look in when it goes down in price.
After having heard some mixed things about this, i'm glad to see it's finally starting to get more positive reviews. Looks like a good solid title.
Genuinely don't get the deal with these things. It seems that they just put people off buying the product when the price difference between p/o and new increases. At first most people just buy them new as it's cheaper that way.
Ultimately though it's just greed that publishers want money from the used market somehow.
Good to know 505 don't plan on it as a permanent thing
I enjoyed my preview time with it at the PS Vita rooms event, but the full game tires fast and isn't overly brilliant. 2.5/5 isn't a bad score though, its 5/10 which is nothing more than average. If you want a fighting game on the Vita, Reality fighters isn't the one to go for.
Ah seeing as the smallest PS3 you can buy on retail is 160gb I doubt size is really the largest issue for developers or publishers. Its a pain for those with earlier consoles and smaller hard drives, but seeing as every HDD on a PS3 can be upgraded to a 500gb one its again not a critical issue for the devs or publishers. I’ve got a shit ton installed on my PS3, but it’s a 320gb model and its only just half full…
It is pretty bad but its not awful by any means. The other two that are on offer with the Vita are excellent, much better than those that the 3DS offers. I don't touch my 3DS at all anymore - except when a game comes in to be reviewed - yet I'm enjoying the Fireworks and Cliff Diver games to no end on my Vita.
Reading the news from MCV that had a Microsoft partner come to them and say that the next xbox wont have a disc drive makes me think that it probably wont.... However, this doesn't mean they are going digital nor avoiding retail.
If games came on a SSD like card or device then they would be sold at retail, but the option would be there for digital download too, kind of like what the Vita has at the moment.
There is a lot of sense in ditching a disc drive, if it wa...
I hope they are too. Although even with so few people currently playing I managed to get to run into 3 people on my Journey so I reckon it'll be alright for a while.
Not a bad list. Good to see SoulCalibur 2, SoulBlade, and PowerStone! I used to love PowerStone so much, it hasn't held up to the test of time too well, but its superb fun.
I am loving my PS Vita currently, good to see more people are enjoying it.
I'd buy it again if it came out on PS3, especially if it got its little problems fixed in the transition. It'd be lovely to hear the dialogue without audio compression that's been forced into the 360 version =/
