Gore in games does very little for me, but I'd say that the Postal series of games are probably the goriest and most violent. You can chop peoples bodies up, piss on people and in your mouth, vomit on them all too. It's just a little bit ott.

Yeah they're mo-capped and then animated on top by the Naughty Dog team to emphasise them more, they aren't actually realistic facial expressions, they're just based around them.
And yeah UC was influenced by TR, but that doesn't mean that TR has to be influenced by UC - even though it is to a degree, it doesn't mean it needs to have features from UC games to make it a good game, it's already a good game without them.

It's what makes them s...

Personally, I hope it doesn't take those things from Uncharted as, quite honestly, it's not trying to be Uncharted.
After having played the 45 minute E3 demo myself, it's above and beyond what I expected, and so much more enjoyable than Uncharted's rather linear gameplay as it has open and explorable areas with items to upgrade and improve as well as hidden tombs to discover and explore. Already it's just fantastic.
The voice acting, and general character a...

Feb 2013 I believe.

Looks like Madden... therefore I have zero interest in it. But I'm sure it's shift to PS Vita will mean it sells a lot - and a lot of hardware too.

Nope, it's been announced that it's launching for Xbox 360

@raytraceme Remember, if Disney are coming to the Wonderbook format, they own Marvel. Already that's infinite win.

That Digg Nightcrawler looks fantastic! I wish it was playable at Gamescom as it just seems like it'd be so much fun.

Agreed, I think people got annoyed because it wasn't some big AAA release with guns and stuff. It genuinely looks great, especially some of the future projects coming out for it.

I was somewhat intrigued by this after seeing it at E3, but it sounds like it's fun that doesn't have an awful lot of depth.

Yeah I'm not a TD fan either, but it just worked so surprisingly well!

Yeah, it really wasn't that exciting to look at. It's essentially just more of the same. The single player preview is a lot more promising than the multiplayer, but it's all still very same-y.

This definitely looks like an interesting game. Quite glad that they have decided to go for a third person perspective over a tactical wargame.

Not too shabby. Mind you'll have to pay a monthly fee+ they want to get people back on board after the fiasco that was the original release. I have to say I'm pretty taken by it and I'll probably go and pick it up if I can.

while I am unsure if Crash will still be in it, the reasons they make for why it's likely a fake are pretty damn lame...

I mean, it's not photoshopped and the model for Crash looks a little bit - if not an awful lot - like some plasticine mangled thing, however if it is a fake someone has gone to the effort of creating an avatar and making a model and then embedding it into the gameplay code of the private beta just to take a photo of it. Seems a bit excessive.

In fairness, this game was impossibly hard to find in Europe too. And while it had fantastic characters from Squaresoft games, it wasn't the slickest fighter to play - although it wasn't anywhere near bad.

The title of this post, + some of the comments on this thread, show the exact reason why many people outside the industry don't take videogames seriously as a medium.

Resident Evil, however, handled the boss with reasonable nonchalance.

This isn't new news... it was announced to arrive on February 26th back in may... http://ir.take2games.com/ph...

I was quite looking forward to picking this up and looks like it wont be disappointing. Nice review.
