Better than PS3 but just behind the 360. Pretty good for a quick port on new hardware!

I'm thinking of buying it, but games like this usually drop in price quite quick. Not sure whether it would be worth the full asking price.

You actually take what the Metro devs say as fact? Metro is one of the worst optimised games this generation. If they bothered to optimise their games, they would easily work on WiiU.
Also, if you honestly think that the next Playstation and Xbox will come close to the graphics in the link you posted, well, be prepared for disappointment!
Stop looking at PC graphics and assuming that is what the next home consoles' g...
Tried the 360 demo. Looks like Multiplatform development hurt it's quality. The first game was much better.

Metro 2033 was poorly optimised. So anything these guys say, I'll take with a pinch of salt.
It's the PS3 version that it is being compared to. You can see the button prompts show up during the video.
They didn't hack it. Somebody accidently pressed X while close was highlighted and this all appeared.

Blame EA on this one. They've clearly rushed Straight Edge to get this out for Launch too judging by some of the early reviews.
When are publishers going to realise that we want finished games and not buggy rushed ports!
It says 1080p on the TV, which means it's receiving a 1080p signal from the Wii U. If it was his TV's scaler, it would say 480p.
Also, it doesn't up res. Neither do the 360/PS3. They upscale. Up Res is what the HD Collections and Dolphin do.
One other thing, every TV has an upscaler built in. If they didn't, Standard Def content would just be a little box in the middle of our screens.
That's why I said they're CLAIMING it's on par.

Saying the developers are lazy is harsh.
It's more of a case of them having very limited time to get the games ported over and ready for launch.
Greedy Publishers are more likely to blame.
Is ZombiU's graphics good? I've only seen youtube vids, so can't really go on them.
Some reviews say it isn't a good looking game but others claim it is. I'm looking for gamer's opinions on it now.

Really unsure about keeping my pre order now. I may wait until a HD Mario Kart and 3D Mario release.
In the meantime, I'll probably stick to my PS3/360 and my Wii/3DS for my Nintendo fix.

As was said below, you can see the screen on Batman's arm which proves it is the WiiU version and not on PC as your article claims. You'll also see that it stays on that...
Really don't know whether to keep my preorder active. All the fud being spread doesn't help either.
If the WiiU is only equal to current gen, then I may cancel as I don't see much point in rushing to get one when I already own a 360 and a PS3 plus a Wii and 3DS for my Mario fix.
I'm gonna have to wait for a real teardown on the system. Just hope it happens before release day.

That was the worst example you could give really as Heavy Rain and Beyond do not play like other games. They are more like interactive movies.
Before anyone starts too, show me a game that has those graphics on PS3/360. Sorry but there isn't one. Beyond and Heavy Rain (as good as it was) sacrifice being a game for those graphics.
Uncharted and God of War 3 are still the games to beat on consoles. They are real games with great graphics.
It's a port that was done in a few months. What do you expect? Had this have been given longer to cook, it would have released in a better state.
Had this been given the full dev cycle that Mass Effect 3 had on Xbox and PS3, it would have no doubt came out better on WiiU. For a company to port this and achieve good results in a few months is pretty good in my opinion.
