Exactly! First it needs proper licencing, then emulation, then PSN support. BTW...with PS4 support. And then you sell mini console that can only play PS1 games on PSN store and gift the buyer with 20 classic games. That's a lot of effort!

Emulation is crap, and selection of games is also...crap. There are like 6 classic games and they look and play horrible. Price cut indicates bad sale numbers and at this point Sony wants to get rid of manufactured units and forget about it.
It all depends on speed and bandwidth. If they stay the same then 16gb, and if it's new gen memory like gddr6 or whatnot, then 8. But still, you can't have too much of ram. First party game are gonna need it down the line. Then again there is this mid cycle pro consoles. Who knows.
Yes, I do. I gave up on Celeste. Indie game of the year, the best thing that happened to gaming since dual analog sticks. I don't get it. Hollow Knight I see the patterns.

Hollow Knight is the best indie game that I ever played, and I do understand the bosses frustration. However, you do feel great when you beat the boss on your own, without cheets and all. Fantastic game either way.
I gave up on Celeste because it is all about jumping. I activated God mode or what's it's called...and seen the level...I really don't know how is this game played on switch without braking it.

Yes. Review scores will matter in 2019. We saw this year that they had major influence in game sales for fallout76, MassEAndromeda, Battlefield 2, and other flops. People need to know on what they spend their money. User reviews are usually more realistic when they are viewed as a whole.

Ehhh No! When ps5 lunches, we will probably see cross gen support for a while like we saw with previous generations eg. EA sport games. But for big titles like GT7 forget about it. They are the reason to buy a new console. Backwards compatibly will only speed up the process of upgrading, meaning big titles gonna be playable on the new system.

Well, Microsoft will never reach those x360 numbers because they are into games on every device. Sure, Sony is in that too, but Microsoft put majority of their games (installation) on PC and next step is mobile devices.
I don't like this gaas game system, not just for Xbox, but gaming in general.
