I think that no one beats Peter Molyneux.
One of the reasons is that is free to play. Fortnite done the same. It's an easy way to get into a game and get hooked. If the game is great more people will play and pay and that generates more content and updates.
Gamers are frustrated for 60 dollar games that are not complete. Their outrage stops further sales, games go on discount and make first players more mad. Developer has to make that content that was promised but with a bad taste in his mouth. It's all a ...
PS3 wasn't a good system for me. It had old design controler, at first without rumble, with flimsy analog sticks. Then had separated ram which was a headache for open world games. Game installs were not complete installs on HDD and the power of Cell was only a potential. 7th gen was hard for the Xbox too (prawed owner of rrod) so consumers have nothing to do with faulty and rushed design.
Fumito Ueda and Hideo Kojima for me.
Below, OMG yes!
Dante DMC DMC ...what happened?
I don't know what rise. I've been using PS4 and xbone and this is my experience.
Xbone: they realised Gow4 and Halo guardians with new characters and weak stories. Nothing to brag about. Forza 7 and Horizon 4 are great releases. In the absence of new ips they made bc Xbox 360 and Xbox games and Game Pass which is great, but the lack of proper discounts when you buy a game individally is horrible. Every old Xbox 360 game is like 20bks. They have separate game stores ...
3k titles, I'm covered 4 life.
I just like games that Sony is doing. They are high quality, complete with unique stories. I just hope that Sony continues.
Badass Gerald!
These are all new games. I like that there is idea of 80$ games to remove micro transactions. Nope!
VR, it needs new controlers and less wires. Also, a new hardware with next gen is needed so that regular games can be ported with not much difference in fidelity.
PS4 please!
Great game! More people are gonna experience the journey.
Action adventure games, but in the last year or so I really liked indie developers because they are mixing stuff and making unique experiences. With Hollow Knight I remember that I love platformers...metrovania stuff.
I'm sorry to tell you this but everyone in the industry has a EA meeting.
Look what happened to Tomb Raider, having the same game third time, and fallout changing single player game to multi. It's hard now days to invest in single player.
Nobody saw gow vision as success till the very end of development
Absolutely agree!
God of War was such a huge risk for the development and direction that absolutely deserves the award. Making Cratos not able to jump, with a little kid side character, avoiding multiplayer and shady practices like micro transactions and loot boxes and still, having the success that is has brings hope to the industry. Now, every success is unique and it has its own reasons and should not be copied just like with Nintendo and it's hardware.
Hollow Knight!
Absolutely agree.
