I've had rechargable AA eneloop which can take 8 - 10h to charge.
They don't have microchip so they can suffer from memory effect, and I often charged them to full.
Also if you charge them for half an h they can't hold a charge... controller lasts for 10min. You have a problem when someone comes over and you forgot to charge them.
Now you have standard USB cable, but back in those days Xbox had stupit proprietary cable.
I've had x360 7 years with rechargable AA, and they lasted for a week. The problem was when they were gone, I had to charge them for 8-10h.
With PS4, controller last 1-2 days but I can recharge it in half an hour.
I can't go back to AA, sorry Xbox.
Do we must download that crap, or can we only have RE3 on the console?

It isn't just that. We as gamers already have our hobby, but we are a small bunch compared to millions of parents that have a kid with a 12y birthday every year. So for those new people it's great to buy this gen and couple of hits to see if their kid picks up a hobby.
You see this in GtaV still being the most sold title every month. New kids are buying.
PS4 releases for this year are fantastic, and library of great games and exclusives is huge. They all look excellent and can be purchased for a great price.
You can't go wrong with this gen.
