I do actually agree with you. We see that in Halo collection. So many optimisations and they still have animation and sound issues.

While Mixer failed and didn't see any growth (or better, their traffic was going down), Facebook's gaming division (or whatever) was going up due to Oculus or chat or mobile gaming. More traffic on service, more ad revenue.
Increasing traffic also means that you have to go where there is traffic or where people are.
Since Facebook has money, and Mixer has money they went together to see potential growth.

That is not the problem. If you like the game that's fine.
But, let's say they do John Wick 4, and a guy kills him in the first 15 min... and we continue the story with that guy to find out more, that is not 10/10 and I can understand the outrage.
They meant something for Star Wars Battlefield.
And then 80% drop, and will never see numbers of the first game.
