It's more of a case of limited application of Killzone's engine IMO

BTW CoD4 looks like ass. It's a lot of fun but it does not look good at all.

I go against a lot of what society does because most of it seems to be ineffectual efforts more concerned with publicity than actually forcing people to make any sort of difference, because that sort of societal and personal growth would be painful and we just want to live pleasant lives.

That's not true for everything, but every time you give money to a homeless dude, or volunteer at a soup-kitchen you're providing stop-gap help, it's valuable, but only in so far as it doesn't ...

I'm not turning anything off. I don't mind the idea of trying to reduce power consumption, especially in the west but I don't think schemes like this raise enough public knowledge, they create a lot of interest but as far as actually educating people and getting them to enact changes in the way they think about energy consumption, not so much.

One of these days (yknow, when i'm dripping money and am super important and respected) i'm going to found a city based on streamlined bet...

Well... I get to take Bad Company onto my PC, so that's pretty cool, can't wait to see what that looks like.

Kojima talked about using western design philosophies regarding technology based design. I think that sort of thinking would preclude multiplatform support.

What if you really like the porn-star and the porn-star-ness is incidental to why you're together? OMG SHE'S DAMAGED GOODS.

I don't know man, I'm kind of impressed with how she handled the interview and some of her thoughts on things than any sort of OMGNERDS angle. Just talking about 'girl gamers' as a non-homogeneous set was pretty cool. Casual inclusion of William Gibson was a plus.

Furthermore I don't think it's ridiculously unreasonable for someone who's workday revolves so much around the flesh to want to have something off-set where they are able to flex an intellectual muscle or two. The poin...

Really the biggest thing I'd like to see changes is I'd like the ability to preview game settings before going through the process of joining said game. That's all.

I think they want to help Infinity Ward distance themselves from that other CoD dev who doesn't seem to do much. Probably a case of Activision taking a step back and saying yeah, this whole CoD a year thing isn't such a good idea as we thought.

So rebranding this vital game series by IW makes for a good move.

I think you'll only see this on console if Intel succeeds in getting their larrabee design into one or more of the next-gen consoles.

Kojima will quite literally never retire, he's also never going to die. I'm quite sure he sold his soul for mad design skillz and immortality...

45 my ass.

It seems to me to actually be a very informative trailer, considering the website and the design of the trailer I think we are supposed to gather that sound is supposed to play a large role in the game.

How exactly? I'm not sure but there are numerous ways IW can bring audio further into the field of gameplay.

I don't think the playstation 3 is going anywhere, at least not until OnLive finds a way to get around the bandwidth problem. Caps will kill it's viability.

Umm yeah, that's not just the ps3 being more red, there is actually a reddish light being cast in the second picture on the PS3 that is not being cast on the 360. You'd have to be blind not to be able to see it.

I think the biggest difference is notable in the alley with the cardboard box that's half-in the light. up on the wall there's a pipe that seems to cast secondary light with colourbleeding on the PS3 version. Xbox doesn't have that going on at all.
