Last of us 2 should have followed a new cast of characters rather than bring back the old cast. Joel and Ellie's story pretty much concluded at the end of Last of us and didn't need to explore more. Maybe what Druckman wanted to include would have been more receptive and not created a backlash. But there is more context as to why people hate Druckman and that involves his treatment of staff at ND.
Gears 5 and Batman Arkham knight used the unreal engine to it maximum potential.

I doubt it because they would have to get the animator to fully realize the right endings which can only be done months in advance and polished closer to release. The leaks were only recently shown and it's impossible to mend that.

Their relationship with Sony is only because 505 games decided to partner with Sony and Epic. I dont see the connection between Alan Wake and being a Sonty exclusive.

This whole "Oh they did it before" needs to come to a rest. The question should be are they doing it now.
And this whole cross-buy situation with Sony is mostly with Psvita to Ps4 and rarely Ps3 to Ps4. The games that are going to be cross-gen is way more have way more weight behind them. Cyberpunk 2077's one-time purchase it a great incentive to get it within the Xbox Echo system rather than the competition because there is no upgrade to be found there.

Streaming games won't be mandatory but instead optional. Console will still be out there similar to how it is with Xcloud now where all the gamepass titles will be streamable.

A majority of the games in the show looked cross-gen with only 3 of Sony first party show off their games.
